Yup, edge kind like rainbow family type. Tiler is rite. Square or edge finishings are more modern. They why u see more square or edge finishing for furnitures. :). But I feel personal preference is more impt. This is our own house ma. :)

Yes bro i agree, in fact i prefer the round round one but din insist since i just ask the tiler to do how they thinks it's ok i got more impt things to worry abt for my house hahahaha :P

Update

We finally bought the lightings for our house today.. is our 3rd visit to Lightings.com.sg. Before that, we ever went to Tai Yong @ Balestier, Lightology.. but the price can't beat Lightings.com.sg.

Here are some pics...

Downlights for living rm, dining area, 3 bedrooms and passage way to bedrooms (36 downlights.. 2x13W)

Hanging light for dining area... juz above the dining table.. will change the bulb to LED bulbs.. (rainbowguy's choice)

But the dining table will also play a factor in the overall feel. :)

Erm why the piping is "n" shape?

The "n" is temporary. It will taken out when the rain shower arrives. They wanna block off dirt going into the pipe... I think... :sport-smiley-018:

The halogen one is $214. The LED one is 3W each and will cost a total of $265.

That's a very good price. My parents got theirs for $290. :(

If you do get the LED one check very carefully when they deliver. The glass block is susceptible to crack and blow holes especially where the bubbles are formed in the glass.

Of the 3 that was delivered i rejected 1 and when i went back to the shop to change, i rejected another 4 more pieces. Finally found one that is acceptable when the sale guy was getting a bit TL with me :P
