HELP NEEDED! YOUR EXPERTISE APPRECIATED!! KITCHEN LAYOUT & DESIGN. HEADACHE

I'm a 1st time house owner. Premium HDB flat, 4 room, but space is a constraint. GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP/EXPERTISE.

Initially we had a plan on the kitchen layout & design and had already discussed with our selected contractors. But when we visited an ID to get some 'inspiration' we start to question the feasibility of our kitchen layout and we understand carpentry is the most expensive item when it comes to renovation.

Not planning to hire id & will like to keep the walls for the kitchen intact. Briefly, we will like these items in the kitchen

- wall & base cabinets

- fridge base

- solid surface kitchen top

- stainless steel/tempered glass backing

- sliding entrance door

- hob & hood, fridge, microwave

CRACKING THE HEAD....... SCARED WILL SCREW UP.

ALSO:

- BOMB SHELTER DO U ALL JUST BUILD A FEATURE WALL?

- LIVING ROOM CEILING L-BOX/FALSE CEILING

Some initial idea:

L shape design

sink will be near window (going clockwise) followed by hob & hood, fridge. Problem on the positioning of hob & hood, fridge

Hi,

u may try to look up for a few more id to gather more design.

Once u manage to hv some ideal which u like, then u may can look for contractor n tell them wat u wan.

i believe this way u may save up to 10 to 15% in total cost compare to ID.

this how i did up for my hse reno.

:)
