Kitchen Renovation Advice

Hello,

we're planning the renovation of our kitchen, and are looking for advice on how to proceed, and who to contact, with possibly hints on recommended company / contractors.

we already have a pretty good idea of what we want, so don't really need an ID, however we'll definitely need the advice of a good contractor to do the job properly.

the different elements we are thinking of are:

- changing floor tiles

- changing kitchen cabinets

- changing wall tiles

- partly hacking one wall to open a small "bar area"

- changing counter top

- installing new down lights

- integrating oven / fridge neatly into cabinets

- changing sink

- changing fume extractor (just the extractor, not the location nor the piping)

- changing stove

overall the layout itself should not change drastically, so not much electrical or piping work.

depending on the feasibility & cost, we might want to move a small corner wall (hack down and build up).

any advice would be highly appreciated !

Just installed new garbage disposal and kitchen sink won't drain without being turned on. This causes dishwasher to overflow kitchen sink. I don't feel like standing at the sink anymore and turning on the disposal every time we need to wash dishes.Master chef
