heres some updates on my home reno progress.

the aircon guys from GainCity came to fix up the Panasonic System 3 we bought at a relatively good price during one of their promos. understand that there were some negative feedbacks on Panasonic A/C systems but still went ahead as it was the lowest price point then, if we had more funds would have opt for ME Starmex or Toshiba.

nonetheless, on with the pics!

Initally had difficulty getting the compressor out of the small window opening in the MBR, but with much maneuvering, managed to get it out onto the ledge to have it installed onto the bracket.

Very NICE!!! And very nicely done elbow for the air-con water drainage. An air-con expert told me your way of laying that pipe is the most ideal. Very easy for the service men to suck all the gunk out of the drainage system to prevent clogging when they turn up for servicing, because the pipes are not buried or concealed in the flooring.

thanks alot for the info bro, at first i was kinda hesitant to let them lay this way, and wanted them to use the common toliet to route the waste water, but since this would be hidden behind the door, i dun think it would be too obvious after paint is up.

today went shopping again and bought my kitchen sink and tap from Poh Seng.

there are 2 open shelves on the left hand side of the wall feature. this wall feature is about 3-4 meters long. initally was afraid the choice of laminate used was too complicated looking, but i think it turned out very well eventually!
