Requested ID to move the stainless steal pipe behind the big pipe... I think current one is not look nice, cause most smaller pipe is behind the big pipe... It feel a bit weird, feel like the stainless steel taking shortcut to the destination... slightly feel like improper.

Hope can be done... anyone know if this is correct? Care to comment?

Agree with u that the pipes looks weird running in this manner.

I had rather similar encounter when ID sub con runs pipes through my living hall..... I made a big hoo haa about the whole matter and ask them to redo! They kept insisting no other way to lay the pipes. I took out the layout and map out alternative route for them! I think these people just want the short cut way of getting things done

Just get them to re lay the pipes.

I wanted to install OpenNet however they are not able to commit the time before the wiring deadline.

I found the solution and wish to share with you guys...

Quoted from OpenNet website, it is simple and independent solution, you can install OpenNet 5 years later provided following preparation is done... just prepare the truncking with nylon inside before you build your cabinet.

don't have to rush to install it right away, and I think OpenNet price still too expensive for me...

Concealed trunking

If you are renovating your home and/or like to conceal the fibre cabling, you will need to provide a 20mm PVC hard conduit, with a nylon draw rope pulled through, from the point of entry to the location where the Termination Point is to be installed. OpenNet’s contractor will install the cables by using the nylon rope to pull in the fibre via the conduit. Please note that OpenNet’s contractor will only return to install this within 1 month of your first engagement with OpenNet.

As requested, i refer u to my blog on the Ugly pipes incident which made me rally mad.:furious: I insisted that my ID rectify the problem.

I didnt want to pay for their mistake. In the end, the problem was solved.

I agree with you the pipe look a bit not at the right place.

My ID is kind of agree with me on this, she willing check and see what the best can be done, I did highlighted prior to renovation the pipe was behind, unfortunately I never took photo to document it down before the hacking.

So far my ID is very accommodating and can return many curve balls.
