I find it quite reasonable, for your info, I was quoted as follows:

1) To provide labour and materials to lay ceramic wall tile to ceilling height using tile adhasive over existing tile. SGD 1200.00

2) To provide labour and materials to lay homogenous floor tile. SGD 400.00

5) To supply and install tempered glass frameless shower screen c/w temered glass and kerb SGD 1260.00

Swing door for 2nos bathroom.@$630.00

For the laminate floor, assume that total area of your rooms are 700sqft, so S$3.50 psf. You may want to find out what brand the contractor is using, laminate floor range between S$2.50 to S$6 / S$7. Anyway I trust that it should be cheaper if you get the laminate floor company to do it for you.

Also for your info, the shower screen is less than S$400 if you get direct from glass work company.

Price does play a part but I think the smooth process and end product is more important as you will be using it for a few years therefore it is important not only looking at the price.

Are you asking advice on how to save cost? IMO, you can reduce carpentry work like tv console, feature wall unless really necessary. (for example you have an odd-shape living room) I find these items not only take up space but also limit your way of rearranging furniture. It will go outdated eventually. If you intend to sell your house after some time, usually buyer will tend to look for houses with minimal built-in to reduce cost of hacking. Just my 2 cents

You can save cost in the installation of lighting where when you buy the lights for your house you can tell them to install for you instead of you paying $12 for each light.
