GianCann 0 Report post Posted July 30 And can it be that the condition of the water heater can affect the size of the bills? I noticed that I started paying more somehow, although I don’t seem to be using more water than usual, and there was no planned price increase either. GarryGrey 0 Report post Posted July 30 Yeah, I had that happen. The older the water heater, the worse it can work because of scale and clogs, and therefore spend more energy on heating water. The thermostat can break, bad thermal insulation and waterproofing. There are a lot of options basically. Overall, other reasons can also affect the size of the bills, read here https://bens.plumbing/blog/how-to-reduce-your-sewer-bill/. If anything, all this is easily solved by calling plumbers. I can recommend bens plumbing if you’re in Seattle.
