Whoa dude. Sweet crib! Imo I think one of the most important things to consider after getting your apartment is your design theme. Like what's the general style you want in your home. Ok, the only example I can think of it Xia Xue's home (not that I'm a fan ok!) it has a coastal theme and she sticks to it when designing the entire apartment making the space very cohesive and organized. I think that's something you and your gf can consider. Personally, I'm loving the Industrial and Scandinavian themes right now. They're super minimalist, sleek and chic. I hope this helped!
