alannn 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2012 hi all, have anyone ever diy their own cushion settee? meaning buying the foam cushion and also custom made the fabric cushion cover? Planning to do it but cant find source for foam supplier, also like advice on the price and density type for seating etc.Cover wise, whether just provide the foam dimension to a sewer and they can do the rest or otherwise. Anyone done it before please advice!I am looking at the possiblity of doing my own minimalist sofa, meaning diy my own base with plywood, get a large foam and also separate foam for backrest that can be separate and adjust for different seating position, ( see link)http://danishdesignco.com/wp-content/uploads/playground-infosheet.pdfinfact can even look at the possiblity of a single bed mattress if the size is ergonimically rite for a sofa.
