Buyer Beware! "providing Best Value Digital Door Locks In Town".

Recommended Posts

I will only post once. I just got what I deserved for trusting interlock for their so call warranty. Their so call warranty clauses' bottom line do not care if ur product is faulty or not. They just want to earn money regardless if their product is genuinely faulty or not. Beware that even if the so call warranty period is still valid, they can accuse u of abusing the hardware which can void the warranty but still charge u money. Please read thoroughly on their warranty clause page and you will see that for any reason of fault on the locks, they can and will void the warranty at their own discretion and still charge u. Please read between the lines and judge if the clauses are indeed only beneficial to interlock and not the consumer. I'm very sure I'm not the 1st to rant on them. Potential buyers looking to purchase anything from interlock, please do yourself a favour by searching forum threads on them to get a better understanding of their business model. Do not trust what des*ond says before the sales about good aftersales service. It comes only after you pay more $$. I've stated enough facts, up to you guys to believe or not.

Dear 'alvy'

I've stated enough facts, up to you guys to believe or not.

We need a lot more of facts/details so we can address your case productively.

We are wary of competitively posted threads (under the disguise of customer), hence our diligence to get deeper into this matter.

We always work with our customers to address their requirements.

Our warranty terms/options and exclusions are clear, and provide flexibility to our discerning customers.

We have never had any customer who paid more than the current retail price in Singapore even including the labour charge.

If we establish the purchase is real and our warranty terms compliance lapsed in your case, we will address accordingly.

We like to ask that you contact us (directly) :

  1. What lock you purchased, the amount you paid and your address or mobile (personal information not needed in this forum, so contact us directly)
  2. What fault did you experience on your lock?
  3. What warranty exclusion do you claim that we have applied against you?
  4. Any receipts on proof of purchase?

Thanks and looking forward to hear from you soon. You can email us at interlockdigital@gmail.com with the details above.

PS. Please note our standard warranty and exclusions communication below.

Full warranty is also available per our website. This is to ensure discerning customers gets to choose what they (really) need.

Interlock SG Pte Ltd

A Singapore Registered Company

Dear Customer,

Please read the following warranty terms.

Your purchase includes a 1 Year FULL warranty which begins on the date of installation.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty only covers manufacturing defects. Parts or lock replacements and labour are free ONLY in cases of manufacturing defects NOT self inflicted damage.

Some examples of self inflicted damage are

- Hard door slamming dislocates the batteries resulting in battery failure. Door closers can avoid hard door slamming. Sudden loss of battery power without the usual week long beeping warning is prima facie evidence of hard door slamming.

- Dismantling of the lock by non-qualified installers to attempt entry, re-installations, modifications or repairs

- Using substandard batteries or damage caused by battery leaks. We recommend only ENERGIZER alkaline batteries. You should check for battery leaks every six months. Typically, alkaline batteries will not leak under normal storage and usage conditions. However, the potential for leakage is significantly increased if batteries are subjected to charging, mixing of alkaline and non-alkaline batteries, mixing of fresh and used batteries, physical damage, extended exposure to high temperature or deep discharging.

Please call 81888629 if you would like to claim warranty.

Regards
