I have different answers from different websites.

Joey Yap method's: Stand 5 feet in front of the HDB block, to take compass reading.

Cecil method's: Stand at the centre of the HDB apartment, then take the compass reading of the front door.

Peter method's: Stand a bit behind the front door, and take compass reading from there.

Which one is more accurate?

Haha...me also ??? LT said stand at most windows. Got one in the list, stand outside the main door. Attended one course, was told stand to face most yang activitiezzzzz

JY's method you described is for taking measurement of the entire block to get the 'big' Tai Ji.

For internal house chart, we still have to stand at the centre of house, get the readings to plot the flying star charts of your unit.

It also depends on what type of readings and its purpose?

In Feng Shui Audit, the door is one of 3 factors for FS analysis. Hence, JY's method is the same as most FSM, i.e. stand few feet away from front door, facing out, to take the readings of door facing.
