My Franco fans lasted me for only 2 months.

I got my Fanco fans from Bro Eric and they all lasted me for more then 1-yr and never had any issues with the fans. Even I have sold off my place, the new owner still using those same fans. Can share what happened with your fan?

Cindy, I believe for all fans, regardless of the brands, the most important thing is the installer. If the installer does not know his stuff and anyhow do it, it's a matter of time before the fan spoils. I've gotten some fans from Bro Eric before. Btw, I've got no links to Bro Eric. Just a very happy customer. In fact, I've just gotten him to install 2 ceiling fans for my new EM as I was very happy with the installation for my old place. I'll be updating my t-blog soon. You can see the pics there. ;)

Celing Fan Experience - Fanco

We installed 3 sets of Fanco fan in 2 bedrooms and Living area. In the first year, we have to call technicians several times regarding the remote. The fans are working fine after 2 years, however, need to ensure the remote are of good quality. How? I have no idea as we have to pay for all 3 sets of remote of newer design the last time we called in the technician as it was after the 1 year warranty period.

Lesson: No point having robust fans if the remote or electronics keep breaking down
