Estimation For Hdb 3Rm Resale (No Design Element Required; Tight Budget)

Recommended Posts

Appreciate advice on some estimation of cost. For my resale 3room HDB unit. On tight budget, so the works required are purely to fix and replace what is not working or old or do not exist. Not expecting design elements or efforts involved.

Kitchen (common) Toilet
1) Supply and overlay of wall/floor tiles of toilet
2) Fitting of seating toilet bowl (currently it's the original squat type)
3) Make good of the existing pipes/fittings
4) Replace existing wash basin (located just outside the toilet) with new one (optional: wash basin with cabinet)

5) Replace bi-fold toilet door

6) Replace heater

7) remove and install new toilet accessories (toilet paper holder, tap, aluminium holder for toiletries...etc)

Master bedroom Toilet
1) Hack existing wall/floor tiles of room toilet, and supply and lay new tiles
2) Replacement of toilet bowl
3) Make good of the existing pipes/fittings
4) Replace existing wash basin with new one (optional: wash basin with cabinet)

5) Replace bi-fold toilet door

6) Replace heater

7) Replace remove and install new toilet accessories (as above mentioned for common toilet)

Kitchen
1) Install a 2ft wide full height cabinet (for fitting of microwave and oven)
2) Install a 2.5ft or 3ft table (bottom) cabinet (not hacking existing kitchen cabinets. this is just add-on to the other side opposite)

3) install solid surface table top for above mentioned 2.5ft or 3ft cabinet.
3) Supply and overlay of floor tiles

Living Room/Kitchen
1) Currently there is a wooden partition (no door) between the living room and kitchen.
- To extend the wooden partition on the left side by estimated 2ft.
- To remove the wooden cabinet on the right side and replace with a wooden partition
- To build a sliding door (whichever option is cheaper: wood or glass)
2) Want to save cost and not build a feature wall for TV. Instead, just tiling a full wall height area with cultured tiles or craftstones, with half brick tiles.
3) Fabricate a suspended TV console

4) mount TV rack to wall

Misc works
1) Removal of some existing lighting/electrical points and relocating with new ones
2) Removal of cornices in the living room and make good of the perimeters
3) Some plastering of walls and ceilings required (mostly in kitchen and toilets)
4) TV/SCV points in 2 bedrooms
5) Relocation of TV/SCV points in living room

thanks!
