Woes & Sorrows...3Rm Prefab Unit In Tamp

After eagerly waiting for close to 3 months to complete the transaction and get the keys, HDB dropped a nuclear bomb saying that NONE of the walls of my new purchase can be hacked....

Now all the previous ID designs are gone down the drain, as so is my dream home layout. I am stuck with a storeroom right in the middle of my living room and kitchen horrors!!

Anyone facing the same problem as me? how did you go around that storeroom? really hated the small hole that leads into the kitchen!

Please share some ideas....SOS

its not a bomb shelter. This is a 30yr old flat...its just that this particular block is prefab.

Please share some ideas...my ID wanted to put a full height black mirror on the side wall and conceal the store room door...but, its still not that appeasing to me
