quarkz 2 Report post Posted March 16, 2015 Hi,Mine's a resale flat. Originally my living room floor has a raised parquet platform. It was dismantled. There's a cement floor underneath. To save money, we decided to overlay it with tiles. After renovation, I tested some tiles using a screwdriver. For some, the corners of the tile sounds hollow but the center is not. My ID says as long as center not hollow, it's ok. Is this true? Now about half a yr later, I tested and found that for some, the center of the tile is hollow. Is it a problem now? Should I call my ID to tell him there's something wrong with my tiles? Thanks
bepgof 20 Report post Posted March 16, 2015 Unless you have signed agreement specifications with ID that states no tile shall be tested like hollow......otherwise save all your resources.Wait for tiles to push up then sign above spec with new ID.....
