Rickcheah27 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Connect a T-joint valve ( ie split the single cold water outlet into 2 cold water outlets ) then connect the 2 outlets to your mixer tap with soft hoses. If your tap is new, it should come with 2 x soft hose. If it's an existing one and/or you have no idea where the original soft hoses are, go to a hardware shop and buy them. One end is the normal hexagonal shaped head , the other is a smaller round shaped head. Before you buy them you should just take a quick peep at the base of your mixer tap to make sure. Or a simpler way... call for a general plumber Edited September 23, 2016 by Rickcheah27 spelling
Browei 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2016 wonder if anyone has a good solution to my small problem.I have an outside toilet with a small sink, and the sink has a mixer tap.I only have a cold water feed and dont need a hot one, but of course the mixer tap has two feeds for hot and cold. When the tap is opened, if the tap is on cold setting (i.e. angled towards me when I lift it up) then all is fine...... but if it is turned away and then lifted up (whenever someone who isnt used to it!) then water from the cold feed 'drops' out of the hot feed inlet. So I need to blank off the hot water feed........ how would people suggest was best?
