Hi guys, Happy new year to all forummer in here!

 

Would like to ask if my quote by my renovation contractor is good? One of the best quotes I have recieved so far. My colleague introduced me to this contractor. Mine is a 4 room BTO

1.0)Demolition Works

Supply labour to hack and dispose half wall at kitchen: $820

2.0) Flooring/masonry Works

2.1) Supply labour and material to lay 600X600mm homgenous tiles to living room: $3200

2.2) Supply labour and material to lay 600X600mm homgenous tiles to master bedroom: $1700

2.3)Supply labour and material to lay 600X600mm homgenous tiles to bedroom 2: $1200

2.4) Supply labour and material to lay 600X600mm homgenous tiles to bedroom 3: $1100

2.5)Supply labour and material to lay 600X600mm homgenous tiles to 2 toilet floors: $1500

2.6) Suppl labour and material  to lay 10ft 50mm kitchen cabinet base: $450

2.7) Supply labour and material to lay fridge base: $120

2.8) Supply labour and material to lay washing machne base: $150

2.9) Supply labour and material to lay kerb at toilet: $120

2.10) Supply labour and material to lay kerb at toilet: $120

 

 

3) Carpentry Works

3.1) Supply and install 20FT kitchen cabinet: $2200 ($110PFR)

3.2) Supply and install 10FT Quartz Top: $1200 ($120PFR)

 

4) Supply and paint whole house with nippon paint (4+1) colour: $1200

 

5) Electrical and plumbing works

5.1) Supply labour to install 10 no of lighting: $100

5.2) Supply labour to install water heat: $200

5.3) Supply labour to install basin: $50

5.4) Supply labour to install hood and hob: $100

 

6) Miscellaneous items

Supply and lay corrugated paper: $160

General cleaning: $200

Chemical washing: $200

 

Total cost: $16,090.

 

Is this quote reasonable ? Please advise all forummers. I see most other people did their renovation for more than $30k onwards.

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

For 16k quite cheap already. Cause standard for renovation in Singapore is aroun 20-30k. and above 30k is those with basic design.
So I think quite worth it.

Wow 16k Reno for a 4room flat is so unbelievable but yet can be achievable with the right resources.. :)
