u selling off ur house? I always wonder at nite & day y EM owners mostly all close their doors..like dont interact with neighbours.I notice it 2 in my relative & frd EM. Anyway was cleaning up the house few nites ago...alone,in a big empty house in the 1st floor,2nd floor veri dark...at times got goosepimples esp when hear rustling noise of newspapers i laid on floor..cant help it..got eerie feeling..hehe maybe not used2 the house yet..

When we went to HDB for 1st appointment..saw my parents in law "accidentally peeped" the amount i wrote on the salary info in 1 of the HDB form.. Anyway i myself "accidentally peeped" at my FIL when he left his IRAS income tax form on table..hehe.

Acherli i prefer roller blind,can dry clothes when its sunny then wen rain can juz roll down.. but the maisonette i bought blocked up...but i dun tink the previous owner did a complete job coz its juz like attap roof.. During heavy rain, its so noisy...i feel like pasting some sound insulation material on the inner side of the roof.

I ever tried to use the HDB type of water jet compressor to wash my bike. Paid a token sum to bangla & i sprayed the bike while its on main stand. My class 2 big bike toppled la..hehe.. I tink i might be interested 2 borrow..thanks 4 ur kind offer. wanna try blasting the rock stone walls.

I took over the house last tues nite, agent calculate the amount owing to me for the extension..juz take keys,lock up & leave, since quite late aredy. Inlaws gg 2 shift to my house temp coz they gg reno soon..so finally Sat morning went to clean up bit 4 them 2 shift over..thot not much work needed. Was bit shocked by the state of the house in the day..usu go view house at nite. It was so farking dirty, esp after the furnitures removed.. lizard shi*ts all over, the stone finish walls covered with dirt & grime, accumulated over the years,all 3 toilets in sad state,remind me of public toilets in kopi tiam..except no smell...in short i tink the previous owner never clean the house. Whole day tried 2 clean up..the window grilles alone took me some time..changed countless buckets of dirty water, used up alot of rags coz most were like charcoal black.the walls are a killer 2 clean... 2moro planning to do major painting,make it more presentable 2 live in.

2day go wedding dinner, met an old frd...chit chat about everyting till talk about house. Realised his sister is stayin at the same blk & same floor as me but hers is at the other side of corridor..me corner. Asked him hw much she bought, he called her sister & found dat she bought in earlier 07 thru HDB ballot, best part is she bought at only $318k . Feel like gg to burn down HDB office when i heard it...within 1 year can appreciate 100k (after grant) keep consoling myself..my unit corner,hers corridor...but even dat..dat stupid corner not worth 100k more..

wah..u give me inspiration on how to decor my recess area... feel like stepping into resort.. wonder how ur 2nd floor look like.

wah..urs oso quite big, mine coz corner & include recess area..the recess area quite big..nearly 10sqm.. can partition part of it 2 b a maid's room or something. if w/o recess area mine onli 148sqm.

I do not know wen previous owner is leaving.. dat time after 2nd appointment..say will try leave less than 1mth after 2nd appt..then took 1month..ask 4 2 weeks extension which i charged. Now another 2 weeks...same rental rate.dunno another 2 weeks will extend again or not. Lucky I dont need the house urgently..if not i would have chase them out of the house.

ya la..some months got 30 days only..but i give in bit la..calculate based on number of days in a 31 day month.. I have problem gg in renotalk 4 1day+..any1 got tis problem..

THe agent is the buyer's agent...not mine. Both are malay uncles, old enough to be my father. From the way they talk & act to each other i tink both of them are friends. Dats the reason y agent cannot get both sides' commission. He sided the seller more than me... Anyway i will calculate the num of days from the day after 2nd appt. Based on 31 days month.

Dunno wanna b hapi or sad...agent call me previous owner asking for 2 more weeks extension..based on existing rental rate. He say owner new flat not ready.Haiz..wat can i say..chase them out meh. 2nd appointment - 8/10/08 (so by rite is start extension on 8/10 or 9/10?) I gave them 1 month extension FOC so should start charging by 8/11/08 - 21/11/08 which is today...but agent say sat..hmm.then extend 2 more weeks(14 days) i calculate is tis date but agent say is another date.which is 16 days away based on 22/11/08 onwards. Now arguing with him...& to tink he take my comm 2.To me like they trying to gain watever they can.. This wat happen if dun have proper black & white...suka2 extend..lucky got charge them..juz cant imagine if i gave them free..tink they will take forever to move out.

Updating progress here, oso keep thread alive. So happy, this saturday is the last day for the previous owner to shift out. I have charged them 1k for 2 weeks rental previously. If they wanna extend oso i dun mind..hehe.. Bz studying for my exam now..no mood to think about house.

Wat a poor excuse..beat jam? jam will start building up from 4, in fact if they leave at 7pm and go to checkpoint..they be stuck there for a long time. Guess those msians love the jams everyday.I got stuck one time at woodlands checkpt on a motorbike..i nearli died of carbon monoxide poisoning..really wonder how they can survive.

I understand hw u guys feel... I was very suay 2..when start to look for house, the property market exploded,all askin cash..no choice,got to go thru HDB bi monthly lucky draw. Always failed,got big num..although i 1st timer.veri dissapointed each time. Then decided to plunge into resale market,at least can choose where i wanna stay. But have to fork out a small sum of $$.

My new resale unit is also on the top floor, 12th floor. I have not stayed there yet but I have viewed the house a few times at nite & day, rainy & sunny. Loved the view at the top,not hot, no signs of leaking except at masterbedroom owner say got 1 time it leaked abit during a heavy thunderstom. He called town council & they fixed up FOC.
