PG Arcadia finally launch today liao

Hi all.... abit of technical info here... previously i oso bought a B&D 700W hammer drill (now finally sold away liao, is useless in my new SK flat) this hammer drill can drill older generation HDB flat concrete wall (those uses hallow block type) nowaday those prefab HDB wall, esp the bomb shelter, u got problem with this type of drill i drill till the drill bit blurnt oso can't drill thru in the market...theres 2 type of mansory drill.... one is impact hammer drill (cost $50-$100+), the other is rotary hammer drill (abt $200-400+) for newer generation HDB wall, u need the rotary hammer (abit ex$, e.g BOSCH GBH 2-18RE cost $200+)....i jz bought one y'dy, 550W type will do this drill jz works like a F1 piston engine giving a powerful piston action most reno contractor uses this type, is faster & get the job done easily, ever saw even them use as a quick demolition hammer for conceal wiring channel the rotary hammer drill uses the newer SDS-Plus type of drill bit meant for mansory concrete however they oso have a attachment churk for normal & mansory drill bit so if u guys intend to buy one, consider it & make it worth that's all my few bits of advise, forks...happy DIY

YES, that arrow head bit is for tiles, i used that oso, v. effective... BUT do not set ur drill to hammer mode, normal drill mode will do & enter slowly else u going to blast ur bit & the tiles, after it penetrate thru the tile layer, u need to use normal mansory bit to drill in-thru the rest of the wall. the arrow head bit is abit frigile, not suitable for concrete, only tiles

hihi... found something interesting while surfing the SLA map.... area mark near Punggol MRT (Punggol Arcadia U/C) & in Fernvale beside Jln Kayu (Fernvale Crest U/C) from what i know, never heard of such BTO name announced before, could it be the next upcoming BTO over next few mth? anybody heard of this 2 BTO before?... correct me if wrong Think SLA must have that latest info & indicated in their map before HDB announce Also that condo launching soon in AMK by FarEast......named as Ovolo

i oso customer of FC with recommendation fr my ID, his friend, Raymond working there in IMM, he giv us a even lower price as compare to their promo that time last year end but still feel ex$ lor we bought this... 6 chair 1.6m dining + 4 seater L-sofa + kopi table = abt $3K Service is good they loan us a temporary sofa while awaiting for ours to be ready bcau we request some modification to the sofa, but when they deliver my dining chair is wrong color, they change for us within 1 wk

heehee...me buy my resale 5R w/o HDB grant but with HDB loan... .....so still as 1st timer eligibility to buy brand new HDB or downgrade & get a 2nd HDB grant

OK...thats it liao....wun apply for ParkCentral liao despite i favour that much... Bcau.....cant afford it hahaha i am lock in my current 5R, CPF dry up liao, can't service another loan, need top up fresh $$$ during interim period till i sold my 5R .....not worth, too bad hey guys...last nite they announced the Dawson plans by WOHA & SCDA...sound better than this ParkCentral, some more built by HDB, not private....eager till they reveal the plan next year

the pricing actually starts from $433k (2nd flr) to $566k (30th), mid-flr 15th abt $506k i din ask the 5R...cau no $$ the best facing are all the 5R, most of the 4R facing south, 1 cluster face north & SE hmmm...dunoe leh...to apply or not if i apply, i had to take a full loan (abt $300k+) till i sold off my SK flat 1-1/2 yr fr now then use it to re-finance the loan

Ya this what my purpose too.... hmmm....not so much on go home eat cau my work place NYP canteen sell v.v. cheap maybe i oso can bath at our NYP staff centre then go home...save water....kekeke actually the cluster of newer flat (5-6yrs old) b/side it resale ard $450K for 4R & $550K+ for 5R if u compare that, then i rather get this new one....condo design some more

Heloo guys... i jz went visit the showflat today... m interested to get the 4R cau i work nearby (NYP...5min walk to office ), parent oso staying in AMK (5min away) 4R price range from $433K to $566 (30th flr), 15th flr abt $506K BUT...abit disappointed Kitchen so tiny, alot of space wasted in planter box, bay window & blacony, EVEN the bedroom got balcony & planter, M.toilet oso got 2/3 height bay windows fyi, SC/CC charge for this AMK DBSS... 4R is $56 & 5R is $67 only so for now...i dunoe how...to apply or not
