  1. Another view.. Dont know what is this called, but they use this plastic thingy to do the cover edge for the bathroom walls.. 1/2 Black tiles inside the bathroom & 1/2 white tiles outside to match the white theme for kitchen floor and walls..
  2. Form board filled up and covered with cement. Living room almost done going into kitchen now. Common bedroom 40% done
  3. Work began today on laying tiles for areas like living room, kitchen and both bedroom. I did not know they use this form board to elevate our floor due to weight loading given by HDB, so you cannot fill the whole floor with cement.

  5. @west thank you but i am worried it maybe too dark as my bathroom floor and walls are all black tiles. Anyone can share their experience if there are any strong or safe window grills selection of materials i can get? Or by installing window locks would be safe enough? Thanks. Wen

  7. This would be our living room - kitchen - bedroom 1 - master bedroom floor tiles. The whole house would be the same tile. The tiler can only begin work on Mon as Sat & Sun HDB dont allow any work to be carry out that will create noise.
  8. Work begin for our bathroom which would be ALL BLACK theme Laying of water proof membrane. Setting up frame work to start laying titles so it can alight right.

  11. We are going to hack a door space to enter the bathroom from the kitchen in the middle of the 2 original door entrance. The tiler have just seal up the right & left side original door entrance. View of the seal up original door entrance from inside of the bathroom.

The drain covers have ALOT ALOT of design and color to match your floor tiles if you buy direct from supplier ... @ footprint yep we would using the: (actual) common bedroom (change into) master bedroom as it is larger in size. (actual) master bedroom (change into) a whole room as walk in wardrobe. Already neighbors are complaining on the hacking....
  13. I love the door design and concept by my friend home which install the door in her bathroom dont last 5 months. Alot of usage of the door will wear out the traction and thus making it hard to slide or move.. Erm like got jam jam feeling. Called them up to ask if there anyway to fix it, their reply was once SOLD no return.
  14. Yesterday the hacking workers forgot to hack this red area of the bathroom wall. Told Id Alan and was very impress that immediate he came today 9am morning with the hacking worker to retrofitted it ... Wet work workers came today to do cementing on the walls and flooring. RIGHT side done LEFT side done
  15. As my bathroom floor would be black tiles, thus we did not want to use those white plastic cover or stainless cover for our drainage. Id Alan suggested use this, which is great as they have a wide range of color you can buy to match your floor tiles.
  16. When down to inspect today and told Id Alan his hacking worker made a mistake today. As the both blue cross area would be seal up into the bathroom and the red cross area would need to hack off to create a new door to enter the bathroom from the kitchen. Thus they forgot to hack away the middle wall which is label with a red cross BEFORE HACKING ! AFTER HACKING ! AFTER hacking away the middle wall that connect both bathroom

As my bathroom flooring would be black tiles, thus ID Alan would so smart to suggest me using this colored "Floor Trap" instead of the normal stainless steel or white plastic cover which would make my black floor tiles very ugly.
