  1. haha. good example of a BAD T&C in consumer favor.. Do take the above as the tell-tale sign that you might not be able to get your things in one piece after you paid. 5th term + rest of the condition = goodbye to your $$$. as they can deliver to you in the next century and still be right.haha.
  2. 2nd floor meaning the lowest unit already right? bound to get pest de. imagine you're a roach or ant looking for food. 2nd floor unit is easy to climb up ma,soft target. for instance,my old place was on a 4th. everytime the pestkillers come and spray. bunch of roaches rush through my old and faulty binchute. so we keep the chute area handly with pesticides. my frd's unit was on the 7th. hardly any roaches but ants yeah(proves ants are really hardworking! ). so chances sure get higher when you are lower.
  3. not repo flat,100% new. but its in a matured estate, somehow have 1 unit left. me & my wtb always wanted a bal,its the cheapest one with a bal in the whole list and we like the enviroment so we took it based on floor plan only. still unbelivable we got such a good ballot no. on our first try allowing to really 'choose'. dunno how hdb works. estate around 5yrs old already still have empty flat, mid level some more lo. hdb will keep flat empty so long then release meh?
  4. Ave 4 area. new flat, $289k, kitchen/bathroom tiled with the orbit peachy tiles, rest empty. even the HDB auntie mention we very heng to get it at that price in years like this..dunno real bo.
  5. the feature wall with sliding doors to the rooms? haha. can bluff friends dont have rooms and you sleep in the study, imagine their face when they're trying to find the rooms.haha. its comes without balcony?
  6. i think my EA smallest liao. jurong west 125sqm nia. haha. but ok la. brought quite cheap.
  7. agree with the choice of no tiles. dont even need to give us discount if we can choose not to tile. cos most ppl will hack away the orbit tiles and pinkish toilet anyway, housing already so expensive, most ppl will live there for the rest of their life.just dont lay them and we save on hacking can liao OR use white tiles!!! dunno which fella approve the orbit tiles/basin and w.c anyway. if he using the same thing at home then nothing to say la. but prolly his house is racked with marble flooring and chenga wood flooring leading to his mosaic laid swimming pool ba. they keep changing policy but nvr change the orbit tiles.
  8. saw the piece at song cho too. for 15ft feet of drop dead gorgeous s/s kitchen top inclusive of the sink in heavenly finishing.. quote me $15k already. didnt felt its worth 15k. think maybe trying to scare me out of the shop with the price so she can go back sorting her mountain of invoices. play with her abit offer her 5k for the display piece but she say cannot.haha. prolly sam leong will buy it ba. but their extendable clothing hangers are very nice and cheap!< $400 only.
  9. been using this forum as my textbook as well. was planning to visit sofalab too. prolly going to the boonlay one and give the other one a miss.its nearer anyway.haha so far been to a few other 'designer' furniture boutiques. by far,Lifestory,OM,lorenzo is really dissapointing. Lifestory, i walked in and looked at the staff's direction waiting to return their welcome smile or acknowledgement, there are like 6 staff sitting at lifestory's counter, 3 didnt bother to look, 3 of them turn and looked at our direction and turn back chitchating again. another one joins them in later walking pass us with no regards. sigh.. OM same thing. just lesser staff with 1 guy putting his leg up high while sitting on the bar stool near counter, looked and turn away. Lorenzo was somehow strange, we felt like 2nd grade customer. walk in wearing berms and t-shirt(as always). staff just stood near us,not smiling not saying hi,just looking at us as if worrying we might break their things. another guy in berms and shirt(btw, strange way to wear with berms on a hot afternoon) walked in with an elderly man(father?) in shirt and pants. fwah, the salesman went over immediately and humped their legs with a sunshine looks on his face. i dunno..maybe we as customer supposed to wear interview kits when visiting designer furniture boutiques or maybe leave our ferrari carkeys(not that i have one) dangling out of our pocket to display our spending power? maybe someone whom have a better list of names on the various "designer" boutiques can start a poll and vote for best service. would be interesting to see the results.
