  1. Anyone had their wrought iron, for both gates & windows, peeling off after a while? My installation was done less than a month ago and it's starting to peel and show signs of "bubbles". I think my renovation contractor is really doing a super baddy job on the reno works. Am so pissed off with him, man!
  2. I bought the exact same thing, invertor @ $2,400 including installation and bracket! I thought mine was cheap but yours is even cheaper!!! Jesus.
  3. I went to IFC 2 weeks ago, and didn't find anything to my liking! So disappointed after hearing so much raves. It's a good place to get ideas and concepts, but exterior looked "cold and deserted" even on weekends. It makes me have 2nd thoughts before going in.
  4. Oh please. I wouldn't recommend this shop!! Hubby went and was asked to leave as they have alot of "so-call major" projects on-going and is not interested in "small-scale" projects like ours... Price is cheap but with such an attitude, I rather pay more and get better service loh. Am so **** disappointed after hearing so many good reviews about this company.
  5. The smallest bathtub is 1385. Brand is Sarah, about $200 odd dollars, less than $300.
  6. The only way to do it to change the pipes, but bear in mind anything connected to your neighbours up and down, you won't be able to do anything. The unit I bought, the walls also covered with rock stones and contractor mentioned plastering's the only way. The rest, I'm hidding them behind cabinets.
  7. Must be prepared that dust will be easily visible. My ex-boss bathroom's all black, not very nice as visualize. Not easy to maintain loh.
  8. I love their bathrooms! But I think a bit steep leh and designs a bit limited. Too "branded" for my liking. Hehe...
  9. For country theme, I think you can get some fairly decent furnishing at Anchorpoint and also IMM. I know at level 3 got one.
  10. I think your best bet is iKea now. Cheap yes, but good, hmm... not too sure how lasting. I think WIW is fairly easy, can just get the drawers, shelving, etc anywhere, but TV console almost impossible...
  11. Aiyah... it's like that one lah! My contractor also same. Before sign and payment, he very good. Everything also can. After sign and payment, wah, attitude starts to show. Everything also cannot!!!!!!!!!
  12. Nice kitchen! Can you PM or email (amisann@gmail.com) the contacts for your carpentary works? Gam sia!
  13. Now, the thing is. Can he stop works just like that (though we haven't heard anything to say he would but just in case!)?
  14. The thing is, HE IS THE BOSS. He alot of problems. Can say one thing now, then say another the next day! He don't honor his words one, very annoying. I think payment already 80% there, but still got works outstanding so I think now is he owe us. Got attitude problem, never mind. As long as he do his job well, do things and designs OUR way and stop pushing the blame to us (ie: tell him want socket next to windows, then when he forgot to do, he will say we didn't tell him!), we are fine by it. He is making our blood boil everytime we talk to him!! Can we go small claims in this case? CASE handle owners and contractors issue one meh??
  15. Ya loh, we tried to keep our cool and give him the benefit of doubt when things started to go wrong. He keeps doing things his own way, taking matters into his own hands. Ask him do "A", he will go do "B" without consulting us and when confronted, he will say it's nicer to do this way. THIS IS OUR HOUSE, NOT HIS! I JUST WANT HIM TO DO IT OUR WAY! And not on just ONE occasion, but many I lost count!
  16. We are having some serious problems with our contractors. Anyone knows how we get this settled? Any organisation in Singapore which can assist us in getting the outstanding works completed? Or something along that line?
