Problem with starhub remote control?

it depends on brand and model, original or compatibles and prices can range from $40 to $150 or more. recently i gave a call to daikin about r/c replacement and was quote $80++. shop ard if you are looking for compatibles, its cheaper but watch out for compatibility issues. most important, vendor willing to refund if it doesn't work.

anyone knows where is crestar service centre? google ard but no avail. bought the fan with remote control earlier this year but broke down. (suspect its the remote control...) shop closed down liao! thks-in-adv.
