DONT USE DARWIN. Worst contrator I've ever seen before. They are doing my sister's house at Punggol. Only doing wet work, the kitchen and master bedroom wardrobe plus some small fixtures in the 2 bathroom. Took them 7 weeks and still doing..... Horrible designer (dun even know how to design, all ideas were not practical. Egs : only 1 small downlight given in the passageway in front of her master wardrobe, not enuf light to see at night. Water heater installed and leaking, drawers given were 'stapled' at the bottom), carpentry work is horrible, can drill holes wrongly and make many wrong drill holes in my sis's wardrobe, panels are all slanted. And they are very expensive. This little work costs her $29k!

Their people are "forever" new..just beware of them. Because their IDs always leaving... So inside is all those "inexperienced" people. Don't know if you all will dare to let them do their house or not. And their workmanship is really not very good. carpenters do shaddy jobs, false ceiling will drop.. etc. quite scary.

Dear Hippo. Ur so call "ID" is not even an ID, She is not a qualified person as an ID with no formal ID knowledge. These people are just a bunch of sales people who jus simply had a short training and called themselves ID... good luck if you were to sign up with them.

No sense of designs, bad workmanship. and they will only do the simplest things hoping to make more money out of u. none of them are properly trained in Interior design.. all contractors and newbies who know nuts about design and concepts.

i think u probably got cheated liao.... so sorry to hear that. how much had u paid to him btw, the law has alot of loopholes and its hard to look for the guy again or even going to small claim is useless. So right now its just to get someone reliable to finish your house first...

Hi, I just did my resale flat last year, the designer is my friend and spent abt 60k to redo a maisonette, hacked off everything and complete with major built-ins like wardrobes etc. If u looking in a reasonable budget i would say yours would probably costs abt 30k, try not to do too much built-in cabinets if you think you want to keep ur budget low. True true... I fully agree.. Went down once before.. Served by a chap. Service not very good as he will ask you what' how' you want to do? If I really know what to do then I won't come la... As well I get contractors outside to do for me, somemore cheaper by half.
