  1. I am using pole design for my walk-in wardrobe and I feel the old style wardrobes seem to be able to hold more stuff. Not sure whether it's because now I have to share space with my other half or it's really not so efficient in terms of usable space. Just my 2 cents worth. It's nicer to look at though, if you keep everything neat.
  2. He stayed low floor, 2nd floor. checked your planks? are they moist?
  3. I bought one before, at the basement fengshui shop at Great World City, with a little boy sitting on top, supposed to be the Buddha. It costed less than $100. It's totally white in color. Not sure if they still have it though. Good luck!
  4. I would go for Simmons. They have one with negative ions, which is quite firm. You may want to check it out. Periodically flipping and rotating your mattress helps it last longer. Good luck!
  5. Yeah, the sales person for Closet Design is nice but it's the person who comes down to do your furniture that determines what you get ultimately. The worse thing that can happen is to pay premium price but get roughly done up furniture. When I was taking a picture yesterday, I noticed they even drilled holes wrongly on the wood and still went ahead to use it.. haiz... nightmare...
  6. Hi, it sounds like you have a problem with moisture. You might want to leave the wooden planks in the sun to dry properly before you put them back in your bomb shelter. I would suggest you leave the door of the bomb shelter slightly open to improve the ventilation (reduce humidity) and close your toilet door. Also, do check that you are not keeping very moist stuff in the bomb shelter. If all fails, perhaps you can just change the planks? I think the root of the problem might be the planks. I'm using wooden planks in my store room, which is also close to the toilet and I don't have this problem. My friend had the same problem with moisture in his master bedroom and I later realised it's because he closes all his windows all the time and leaves his MBR toilet door open. After I suggested that he airs his room by leaving the windows open and get a good fan to ventilate his room, everything seems ok. Hope this works for you.
  7. Oh, but be prepared to be charged like an additional $30 per lighting for installation as these are different from the normal lightings and more difficult to install/mount.
  8. Hi, you may want to check out SPACE and Artemide for original designer lightings.
  9. Hi, I'm not sure what is OPSH but all my WIW and kitchen cabinets were from Closet Design because I thought that if I'm willing to pay abit more, I wouldn't have to worry about workmanship and materials etc. Before deciding, we checked out others as well. When the carpenters came to construct the pole system WIW, my FIL was there to see that everything was ok and he found them to be rather inexperienced from the way they constructed the WIW at the corner. But they rectified it nicely according to his suggestions and all was fine after that. But for my kitchen cabinets, they did a very sloppy job at the joint of my L-shape cabinet. When my husband highlighted this to the chinese carpenter who was the main person in charge, the reply was "if you want it to be done nicely, the price would be different." I thought that was a lousy reply. We all know that Closet Design is certainly not the cheapest in the market. What is he saying? That I am paying too little? Frankly, I wouldn't have engaged Closet Design had I known they would do a sloppy job and show me this kind of attitude. Just my personal experience. If anybody is interested, I can take a picture to show you.
  10. Hi, I have this Honeywell Tower Fan. Bought it a couple of weeks ago at Best Denki when it was on promotion for $129. Very happy with my tower fan.
  11. Hi, I have the same query too. Has anyone done that? Thanks!
