Need to know: All your LAN point go where? a) how long wiring? b) brands ? ( faceplate, cables ) Usually they will give you those normal or average types. If you renovation is with the same contractor you can ask for further reduction.

I think u can use back the door as a separator between your living and study area then the difference won't be so obvious.

I'm using Joven 35L the latest design with energy saving ( dunno how true ). Anyway got lots of brand for you to choose from ( Ariston and etc ). I heard from people that Joven is the more on producing storage heater only and quite an old brand, that's why I've decided to go with this brand. So far very satisfied with it.

Ask them to propose, if you're happy with the proposal, then only ask them to do, not happy ask them to propose again. Anyway you've got around 15meters to play around before they start to charge additional cable run.

Don't worry about that, they'll advise you accordingly. I told them that i don't let them touch my false ceiling and ask them to propose another way. Their trunking is less than a foot long because use my existing trunking and size around 20cmx20cm max.
