  1. Guys Yes, the japan engineers came down today..I didnt have a chance to meet them but my mum is around. They called my mobile after they did a measurement and mention that the speed 1 is not within their specs. Their stated specs of 166rpm at speed 1 is an error on their Singapore website. I accepted their explaination and since they admit their mistake, I didnt force them to remove the fan. They tested and speed 2 and 3 is within specs so i just keep the fan and dont use speed 1 For those who are facing problem, just keep it at speed 2 n 3
  2. My encounter is different. He ask me whether I want to reno or not. 1st thing he aim at my door. Asking me to do a tilt. After that aim at everything he see is a mistake. Haha! I see till blur. He also tell me some times that is impt like if I don't tilt my door, then the layout will be totally different. If I tilt it, then also different. I don't know why he is so particular with door facing. In fact, he mention I must do door before I tough those reno inside my house. Before reno start date, my hammering of nails, drilling etc. He didn't touch your main door which is surprising. 99% of those who consulted him is never spared. Haha!
  3. Bro The japan engineers will be coming to my place next tue. If u need any help, feel free to pm me. Please note these engineers work for KDK HQ so if you are interested to let them check your fan, pm me and I will see what I can do to arrange
  4. From what I know, the carpentry business also belongs to Ho Bee
  5. Yes, Guan Yin is to bless family. For lucky, maybe pray to other god?
  6. Hi Bro Haha! Thanks for understanding what I say. Yes, I feel all products must measure according to specs. Seriously speaking, I dont really care if the actual speed is above or below the specs as long as it is "windy". Since it is not, of course as a consumer, I get service center to check. Yes, talking about motor rpm, it is measured using a tachometer and you are absolutely right. For measuring air flow, air flow meter can be used but it is extremely tedious to setup the experiment. Talking about some theory, "The amount of air flow depends on many factors for example the diameter and shape of the blades, rotation speed of blade (rpm), horsepower (hp) of the motor, and the fan design. These combined factors establish the air moving capacity of a fan. Usually we use rpm as a benchmark because it is difficult to establish blade design, fan design etc unless you run the design using simulation. Some fan design have big blades but may not necessary has more wind. In addition, a fan with faster rpm doesnt = more wind too. There are many factors involve. As for the Japan engineers, you are totally right. They are here for some meeting with the SG team and the service manager says probably it is good for them to look at this since they are here. Personally, I worked with Japanese engineers before and they have pride in everything they do. You tell them the problem, if it is their fault, they will fix it.
  7. Sir For those people who say it is great etc and whatever review, I just take it as positives etc and after looking through the specs, I think it is a good small fan. To be frank, those so call comparison without data, I take it like a pinch of salt. It is like saying it is windy, it is fast but what is the rotation speed and air flow? For me, I feel speed 1 sucks so I request their technician to take a look. After measurement, it is under specs thus of course I am unhappy. I told them nicely, asking them whether the motor has issue or is it defective. Tell me all the blah blah blah reason as if it is not their fault. I can accept it if they admit it is their problem but they simply push and push.. Personally, I feel lasting is of no use if you cant serve the function. What is the use if I were to give you a car which can only travel at 20km/hr max speed but it can last for 50 years! Will you be happy? Their service manager call me back today and told me next week, their Japan engineers might be visiting me..haha! It is a joke, visit me for what ****? Just fix it. Sunnytan31 If the specs is 166rpm and if yours is not, then get them to replace and compensate you if needed. It is your rights.
  8. Ok guys, just a little more detail. They send their engineer down to measure rpm of fan. Interestingly service manager dunno what equipment they use to measure but I guess it is tachometer. I am not around to see. After that, the speed is measured to be 144rpm which is out of specs. My wife told me they blame it on our cutout in false ceiling which I call service manager to challenge her claims. Interestingly, she told me specs on website might be wrong due to some design changes and dare not call me back. Haha! Nevertheless, I will hunt her down. If wrong, better pay compensation or refund and apologize to me in person. Load of crap!
  9. For your info, I challenge their 166rpm specs. The service manager challenge me and insist it is my ceiling design problem. As someone with many years of R&D experience, I tell her my theory and ask her to contact their R&D engineers in Japan HQ and check it out. After she call Japan, she told me that the 166rpm might be a problem. Until today [2 weeks later], she dare not call me up again despite I try to call her 2 times but couldnt get her.. What a joke..! Service manager! Pui! Let me try and get her and see what is her answer now
  10. Great! Who actually solve the problem for you? The "Thai" monk?
  11. Why do you want to have major changes? I thought since he say everything ok, then good what. As for change luck with job search, I feel it is really a up and down thing.. I always feel no matter how steady one is, there are bounds to be up and down...
  12. I always thought the 5 colors represents the 5 Shu General: Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong and Ma Chao..haha!
  13. Seriously, no one can tell. Even if they can, it is just a heresay. I doubt fengshui is a science where you can compare apple to apple. Usually, refer to their lineage like who is their teacher, ancestors etc...but of course, this one maybe not accurate also. Lol! A great master might have a lousy student which is nothing surprising anyway. When we watch those oldern swordsman movies, those disciple from shaolin and all the reputable sects do produce average or lousy students! Haha! As for which countries fsm better, can tell. Malaysia has grand master yap Cheng hai. I am not familiar with hong kong, china and Taiwan but obviously, they have great fsm too
  14. I feel it is superstitious. If you believe, then useful. If you don't, it is useless. Personally, there is no right or wrong as long as u feel good.
  15. Animals in the zoo? Great one bro! But we don't have dragon in zoo, Komodo dragon counted or not? Lol!
  16. No way office is going to adopt fengshui unless it is a more chinese company..Even they do, they only do it for the owners and big shot [CEO]. Those workers they cant be bothered..If you cant take it, just resign and they get another person in
  17. It really depends. Usually agents take commission from landlord. It really depends on individual agents..Seriously $1400 for a 2+1 is ..........................................
  18. From what I know, animal (zodiac) is general. The actual need to look at individual bazi and also dependent on house fengshui. According to what I know, house fengshui will damp or amplify the bad n good respectively. Bro Bepgof..correct?
  19. Small carrot Is those are really henry's workmanship, then it is horrible! Wow! That is not wear and teat but cracking. Bad! My friends and I consider ourselves as lucky. All of us wanted to engage Henry but after he give us the stuck up reply, we avoided him. Heng!!!
  20. Bro Don't make TS anxious. In front of you, on one dare to speak. It is like using sabre in front of guan yu.
  21. Hi We placed the toaster oven inside the oven and we realize the top laminate sort of starting to come off. Anyone knows any remedy?
