THERE IS 3 ANGLES TO LOOK AT AH SOON SITUATION: 1) HE IS A BIG LIAR, HE NEEDS MONEY, HE RENO OUR HOUSE, TAKE OUR MONEY AT 0% INTEREST and BEST OF ALL, NO NEED TO REPAY IF WE GIVE UP CHASING HIM 2) HE IS REALLY IN FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY DUE TO WRONG INVESTMENT, PEOPLE OWE HIM MONEY, ETC 3) HE IS KEEPING A CHINA MISTRESS (WHICH ALOT OF PEOPLE DID WITNESS THIS LADY AT THE BBQ PARTY IN AUGUST), ALL OUR MONEY SPEND ON THIS MISTRESS!! IF HE INSISTS IT IS SENGKANG HDB PROJECT, I AM GOING DOWN TO HDB TO VERIFY THIS. I KNOW THIS CAN BE DONE! AND NORMALLY, IF REALLY THE HDB CONTRACTOR OWE HIM MONEY, HE CAN DON'T HO THE HOUSE N DELAY THE HO... COS 5 YRS AGO, HE DID RECTIFICATIONS WORK FOR ME, HE ALSO FORCED ME TO TELL HDB TO PAY HIM MONEY IF NOT HE WILL NOT HO MY HOUSE. IF THIS IS THE CASE, I DON'T SEE THE REASON HIS MONEY CAN BE DELAYED BY HDB CONTRACTOR.. I DON'T THINK AH SOON IS SO STUPID...!!!!!!!!!!!! LAME!!!!!!!!

pang pang, well said! no one will work for free that is for sure... anyway a couple of workers i have talk to, have been working with ah soon for 10 over years, even some staff at the tileshop i have spoken to, also claimed to have work with ah soon for 10 over years, all said AH SOON never have this money issue before... i don't think they have the need to lie to me.. if 1 person tell me, i may not believe, but it is many many people telling me this... all i can say is, every business got it's ups n downs... there are many good examples that quite big companines also closed down overnight and customers get back $0. the moment we choose to believe ah soon, we are taking a risk. fact is, whoever we choose, there's always a risk....

worst to worst, gather all houseowners affected by ah soon, then find contractors to give us a good quote to finish up the remaining job... that is really when there is no choice... pm me your email and list of o/s things not done, i can try to collate and ask ah soon sub cons to give us their contractor price... i spoke to one of the sub-cons, they even got their own HDB licence.. i request for my house windows on sat, mon they come install liao...(of course i did tell them my urgency as there is flood in my house) asking them in a group, we stand a higher chance of getting low prices... this sub con i liasie with, their price is also very good, my whole house windows grilles (double hollow) is only $880, somemore i got a BIG balcony and BIG service balcony. averagely i have about 25 panels of windows...

this takes time.. i will do it, but i got to settle my o/s things first ...

we can get to the bottom of this. call HDB! tell HDB says ah soon is delaying our JOB because the HDB main-con at SENGKANG did not pay his SUB CON (ie ah soon). ASK HDB TO INVESTIGATE.. WHY NOT???? I AM SURE HDB WILL CHECK FOR US??

IMAGINE THIS SITUATION: If we houseowners decided to stop chasing uncle and proceed with our own renovation using our own money, UNCLE COULD BE HAPPILY POCKETING OUR MONEY -- 12 HOUSES X $10k -- with no interest to pay, and best of all, earn bonus interest if he have the means to complete our houses.... is he really that POOR???? even we make police report, ah soon has not run away yet, he is not considered as committing any offences yet.. he could have say, i will do, u jus wait lah...
