yaya i totally agree with u! a lot of things i prioritising what's more impt, then buy. or else really no money liao. and the post-reno dust... arghhhh, i clean so many times until cannot take it. this weekend must try to complete. and don't even mention abt the unpacking. zzz... can't believe i have so much junk in just one ROOM, can't imagine the rest who are shifting the entire house.

haahah, same same, my dad also always take from office and grandma's place. the dogs use newspapers very fast! cardboard type material shld be ok. make sure its not too thin, or else also no use. and remember to remind, double remind, triple remind the delivery ppl to be careful and don't scratch ur floor. ah, one more thing, ur chairs, sofa and all, if the legs is metal, or if u scared scratch floor, buy those round flat rubber things to stick to the bottom of the legs.

haha, one bottle of dettol and one bottle of perfume. :X i wasn't around when they did the trunking. my supervising uncle got tell them abt the gaps, but they nv fix it. then after the house all done up alr, i did one round checking of the entire house and paste notes all over the house, and Uncle S got the aircon ppl to come down and seal the gaps up!

haha congrats!!! furniture coming in is a big big big milestone! hehe. make sure u jaga the delivery ppl. mine were all very careful, cos i keep asking them whether need to add more cardboard to protect my floor or not. they pull in one item, i adjust the cardboard, they pull in another item, i adjust again.

$900 seems cheap! i am paying $1.5k for my curtains. 4 half-length and 1 full-length.

no leh. it says one hour. sigh, nvm, fessed' up to my mum liao. lucky she still ok with it, cos we didn't do it on purpose. will not trust 3M anymore, heading out to buy a drill this weekend. here are some 'beautifying stuff' i bought for the house. table-cloth! i have some red table decor to go along with it, forgot to take. dining chairs not bought, need 4. and yep, store cabinet's in a mess cos everything and anything is stored there until the real move in starts. runner for the piano realised this not so clear.. runner for the shoe cabinet. the man's room, finally complete with sofa bed and all the gaming equipment brought in. waiting for my promised X'mas present - Wii Fit! more pics aft the weekend (hopefully of a neater house). less busy and will be able to do some REAL unpacking.

wat's IIRC?? I got let it stew for almost an hour leh. Not long enough?

had a very bad weekend. i bought a 3M hook which can hold up to 2kg weight. hung up a clock my mum gave to me and 3 hours later, it came crashing down, it dented my new dustbin, my parquet flooring and broke into pieces. tried to salvage it using epoxy glue but the cracks are too obvious. its a precious gift from mum and now i really don't know where to find it anymore!! all i know is she got it from thailand years ago and liked it a lot. :( can't find any custom hand-painted porcelain clock makers here. seems like they're mostly in the US or UK. dunno how to open mouth and tell mum about it. sigh.. why i so suay?

quick update: havent been able to post up the pics i said i would, cos never bring camera. haha. plus my bedframe colour is wrong, new cloth cover is being manufactured and will be delivered in a month's time. i ordered purple, nice dark purple. it came in bright pink. not that i don't like pink, but?? *faints* went to Lovely DeArt at Thomson Plaza & Causeway Point to purchase table cloth, cushions, runners etc. flowery, lacey etc. told my hubby i'm beautifying the house, he terms it as 'girly-fying' the house. oh well, he says she says, i always win in the end anyway! i'll post up all my shopping victories soon. haha. tomorrow town council FINALLY sending their plumber to come check on water pressure, plus delivery of my fridge, washing machine, sofabed and my starhub cable tv set-top box, modem. exciting day tomorrow! uncle also coming to check my kitchen floortiles cos seems like the tiles i chose will absorb liquids and create stains, he say will try to remove and put a layer of sealant on it.
