I am changing the floor using a laminated one. Bedroom is all parquet so no need to change. I will do a major reno of my 2 toilets esp the one in MBR. Will construct false ceilings on MBR, Dining and living area. I will have a full length TV console in Living room as well as MBR and WIW in MBR. The 4 other bedrooms will have a built in wardrobe. Kitchen will also be fully renovated. Change of tiles and cabinets.

Just a quick update... We have just finished the 1st appointment today and both of us agreed the date of 2nd appointment on 14 Sep 2009. The lawyer told me that he will be meeting me to handover the keys to me but before this, I need to do a final check of the flat to see the condition. *** called and informed me that my 3D is now available and we can meet up on Thursday, 6th Aug to show it to me so we can finalize everything.

Why it's so high? Well for me ha 30K is too much according to them. They will do everything for me including hacking of tiles for both MBR and common toilet. Lamination of the whole living and dining area.

Well it may go up to 30K if I intend to do a wardrobe for each room. Master Bedroom is a Walk-in Wardrobe. There's 2 big windows beside the living room. I have ask my ID to add 1 more room in the living room coz the space is really big and even after adding it, it will still look big. I have only 1 daughter, but my 2 sisters are living with me. All in all around 8-10 people will be living the house so we really need a big one. I will not get any subsidy coz I am a PR (don't know if I am qualified). Usually that's what they are telling, PUB will also increase when you stay in a big house. This is the intended floor plan for my house.

Unfortunately yes because of the bank loan...they are not affiliated with RHB which gives a lower interest...also if you see the design, it's totally different from the one designed by Gilbert. It was my husband who has closed the deal with them coz I am in a business trip. I will explain everything to Gilbert once I am back in town. How about you? Which designer have you chosen?

It's a 15 year old flat...2nd floor only which I really prefer coz I have a small child and my mom is quite old to go up and down to the lift. It's for all the rooms, kitchen and living room then additional 5K more for the buffer.

Yes...I have received 3 lay-outs from 3 ID firm and this is really the best. They were able to maximize the space and gave me a good proposal for my WIW in my MBR.

I will show more pics of this house once we get the key...hopefully by mid-september.

yes it's a good deal indeed...even if i spend 30K in renovation not bad. the MBR toilet has already a jacuzzi and this is really what i want in a toilet.

I am currently living in Tampines also...Block 421! Been living in this area for 2 years...well this is my first home in Singapore after deciding to move in SG for work and I really fell inlove in this town.

Maybe we're living in the same block...

the additional room in the living room can be removed anytime...it's just a partition wall. Even by adding this room I can assure that the space is still big for my daughter to run and play around.

yah very good price indeed...now EA price shoot up in Tampines area.
