Yea the * one a lot of freebies... but they did give me the option of cash rebate instead of the freebies. Although their freebies are of no brand, if I go out buy, it will be more ex too. and i agree with you re the interest and reno loan! ok! hope your contractor can make it!

Can u share with me your contractor contact? I am honestly thinking of doing everything with an ID and ask a carpenter to do up my kitchen cabinets... cos the kitchen cabinets seem to be marked up by quite a fair bit by the IDs. I have been to * as well. And yes their price is quite cheap cos of all the freebies. But the thing is, the person who served me really cmi.. :/

Can someone recommend a good contractor that will help to coordinate between all the other aspects of renovation? Like an ID but not as expensive as an ID... I only know of http://www.zhiseng.com.sg/ Any body else I should consider?

I got a quote from Darwin. Yes I agree they are quite expensive. The showroom @ bendemeer there is quite impressive but the ID who attended to us seemed pretty impatient to get us through it although I stopped to oohh and ahh a bit at some designs. Perhaps its just the ID that attended to me, he was not inspiring or appear eager at all. He did his job of drawing the proposed floorplan and quotation, nice guy, but I felt he appeared a bit tired at the job. Not tired that day but tired of this job. Bf said he looks like he is very new. Cos he didn't know which country the laminates (that he was proposing) were made in.

With so much carrpentry work I believe you will save a LOT more if you go direct to a contractor just my 2 cents
