Now....the DAY....the most memorable day......the Hand-Over of my old-EM .......... looked at the conditons....so nice so spacious so neat so cosy...even without the furnishings, right ? I will missed this living area .... .....looking thru this window outside panoramic view was the most enjoyable for me.... .....my wifey..... ...... will missed this area the most..... uhmm.....my 2 kids saying last goodbye to this house..... ...but they dun looked sad at all.. ...hahaaaa ......GONE...... .......SOLD ! Looking forward to my new " HOME SWEET HOME"...... Cheers!

Next.... these are the "rubbish & mess" currently still in-progress of unpacking and tidying up......very the tired !!!! ...at the lower level my kid's study room...uhmmm .... .......why the washing machine is at study room???......orrrr......still not unpack yet lah....... [ my study room at the upper-level, just managed to hook-up the pc...... .....if not....you wont be able to see this post.... ....hahhaaaa more comming......... Cheers!

Here's the updates: All make-up reno completed just on time 1 day before move in: [ on moving day, 2 trips of 20th footer lorry ] [ got 6 guys to help-up with the moving, they even have time for a break..... ....doing the "hantam-bola" at the living hall after clearing the boxes ] ....MORE PICS COMMING... Thanks for your posts & so sorry about no progress updates recently.....me already shifted in to my new hse(last weekend)... .......have been unpacking & unpacking and now it's still like a rubbish dump.... .....many many cartons still left unpack.....normal huh !! Anyway, have just managed to hook-up my computer last nite and me promised that lots of pictures will be on the way..... ...including the last moments pics(empty hse) of my "sold EM" ... ..my wifey still feels so "sayang" letting it go...but at least I made her happy about the kitchen cabinate that had been modified to fit her big fridge...me also spend less $$ to buy new fridge.... hahahahaa So Guys...do hang on here to check out for more... .. Hi cboonh, Congrates on your 95% completion reno! Mine actually also 95% complete....if not for my change of mind to re-paint the ceiling..... .......but I still hv to move-in this weekend...now rushing that "ah pek" to complete the job......stay tuned ... Cheers!

Hi Hi, Updates on Reno Day-9 : Started to fix the lightings, but painting work still not complete due to my request to change/re-paint the ceiling color from white to wall color tone. Actually that painter "ah pek " (kau peh kau bu) in his heart....when I ask him to re-paint the ceiling....but he still do it and commented that it was really a daring/wise choice....good results no regret...uhmmm.... ....refering to his own good painting skills ?....ahhahahaa That's my dinning area light, it's an Alabaster-stone light......uhmm...of cuz exclude the plastic sheet which I covered it to prevent damage from painting ceiling.....if that "ah pek" beh song.... ..... Notice the color of the ceiling already painted(1st coat), and also the installation of cornices just yesterday..........as I said it turns out to be very very matching....if ceiling is white = too plain.....now same color tone as wall = more cozy especially with the lighting effects at nite......will post more pics after the final touch-up painting....check it out later! You are right...Pink... As my wall color is not so dark.....(I am using Natural Cane color)...it really turns out to be very matching...especially when the white cornices runs over the edges....it fills up the contrast.......will try to update progress & post the pics soon....uhmmm....now very buzy packing...getting ready to move-in this weekend. Hi dsman, Thanks for the feedback. However, with my "gut-filled" feelings, I decided to proceed with the painting of ceiling color same as the wall... It turns out with a very good results satisfaction......no regret at all...... .....shall be posting the pics soon. Cheers!

Hi Hi, Very nice " white white" theme...very neat...nice choice! I've got a resale hse which is also all white ..the wall,cabinates,etc.....but due to my 2 young kids and also worried about the maintenance.....we are transforming it in to a more darker-tone cozy theme...... Hi forumers, Would like your comments/response on my below query: Normal color of the ceiling is white, however I am thinking to paint it same color as the wall and add in cornies(white color) at aroung the edge. Reason for painting the ceiling color same as wall is because most of my lightings are "bounce-light" (eg: the cove-fluorescent light & also an "Alabaster-stone light" for my dinning which are all lighted-upwards).........so it will only create effects when shines on a darker tone surface. Has anyone painted a darker-tone color for ceiling?...... ......or is it advisable to paint darker tone color instead of normal white? Any advise/comments welcome please! Cheers!

Hi lv, All the doors are made of solid aluminium frame with frosted glass, it's the original door changed by the previous owner, sorry I dun know what is the cost. Cheers!

Hi hi, Progress on Reno Day-5 : Paintings 80% complete lieow.....pending entrance area / door frames / main-gates & some final touch-up......definately will complete by 7/dec(monday). have transformed the original white white color theme to a darker tone concept....but still not to my liking yet........ .....especially at nite with the lights on.... I think I must change the lighting from "cove light" to down-lights....but need to pend more money$$$ lor....... this "ah pek" is 60years old but he climbs like a monkey !!! Looks like my targeted 10days reno before move-in are well in placed !!!..... ...lucky-DEVIL me!... ...ahhahahaha Cheers!
