  1. my fengshui masters are advising us to place a red color light (any design as long as it's red) above the kitchen entrace(there will be a kitchen door) and turn it on for 24 hours. This is really a tough job for us....so far I have yet to see any nice looking "RED" color light any suggestion?
  2. summerela, this is how a snake plant looks like: more pictures can be found here: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&...mages&gbv=2 must learn how to use google it's very useful
  3. uhm.....the garden concept was requested by our fengshui masters..... will be placing hotel like kind of round shape coffee table and chairs...
  4. hehe, not "own cons" lah....cons cons cons...like they are conning us like that muahaha.... in house installers.....
  5. well, i heard they use dunno what plaster to cover the pipe, confirm 1 year later sure got problem....think again b4 you engage them....
  6. just realised a lot of offices have snake plant....quite nice
  7. dun worry guys, i stated clearly that it's purely for window shopping, price expensive never mind, I can always find it cheaper at Pantech kind of shop mah....hehe...just need to see for ideas only
  8. finally, it's time for us to start shopping for lightings..... would like to know if you guys have any shops with wide variety of lightings on display? not hurry in making any decision, just want to see more stuffs

  10. er......you shall go down IMM and check it out menz.... but i visited them for pricing only, then use that to negotiate with some other pro company.
  11. any idea how to contact him? his blog is d@mn messy .....i searched through the whole blog also can't get any email address....
  12. if you are going ParkMall, do pay EcoLinks a visit too We are planning to visit them after the basic renovation is done. Think it will be a close fight with Scanteak, the only diff is, EcoLinks is importer, Scanteak is manufacturer.
  13. any plant to recommend? Orchid? hope to get something dun need water one.....otherwise may attract insects to come.....
  14. ceiling cassette? you meant like those big shopping center using type? we do not have any false ceiling, i dunno if this can work. if 28KBtu/h (although a bit overkill for HDB) can solve the problem, I may consider using such a huge unit.....about $0.30 extra per hour compared to 24KBtu/h unit....
  15. Sharp is good, fresher air. But Panasonic Envio series may hit them as Envio's e-ion may not be turned on together with the aircon one. So you can have 24/7 fresh air without paying a lot of electricity. you can get cheap aircon, but you cannot pay cheap for workmanship, you pay for what you get lor.....i know all best, gain city are among the cheapest, but you use them at your own risk lah okay?
  16. the aircon fancoil supposed to be installed in point A (24KBtu/h unit). But after meeting fengshui master, he advised us to shift it towards the dining area. If I were to use Point B, would 24KBtu/h become not efficient? Would using a 28KBtu/h model help in cooling the whole place if I were to install in point B?
  17. Our fengshui master asked us to use frosted sticker to cover up the bottom window so that it won't be transparent. Another alternative is to place plants (up to bottom windows' height) along the semi-circle area. Any suggestion for the type of plants to use? cabinets to decorate the place etc?
  18. happen to pass by Park Mall and saw Eco Links was displaying some of the stuff there, the pastel color painted teak wood furniture seems quite nice imported from Vietnam....
  19. the vietnam imported UK style bedroom set (pastel color painted teak based) caught our attention. Price is considered slightly higher than "good price" but the design really looks cool! The bundle price doesn't really save a lot of $$$. Browsed through their website and realized most of their furnitures could fullfill our theme requirements. their webby is http://www.ecolinks.com.sg but nothing much in the product list. Anybody shopped there before? Thinking of going down to pay them a visit once my renovation is done.
  20. haha, hard to say, dunno if they outsource or really have in house painter leh......."jiak" paint is to make the job easier right?
  21. is engaging ICI/Nippon direct cheaper than those ID? is there any quality assurance from direct?
