hi hi.. am gonna turn one of my rooms into a wardrobe/wiw cum study.. not sure if wanna put a sliding door between the wiw and the study.. WIW with the sliding door which would be in tempered glass.. jz worried that dust mite collect on the shelves if its open concept... or wardobe with sliding doors on the wardrobe instead.. which do u guys think is better?

no leh, me no hardcore leh..hvnt done it yet.. i read somewhere someone did that.. they also tried out the paints using tt method, took those sample books then tried to rub on the painted square see if paint rub off or can do what the company claims..

wah... call him everyday n chase!! wat so difficult abt doing up the drawing lah... ya.. if u like the white then use white lor.. together with silver.. u can get the laminate samples u like then do those resistance tests on it.. scratch it, dirty it, wipe it, etc.. read that somewhere..

why dun u get ur ID to propose some more ideas, that's wat he is for wat... get him to do some 3Ds so u can visualize better? can consider white for the cabinets n stainless steel splashbacks... or those laminate that looks like wood?

how much to add for 6ft? if dun do L shape, think ur 20ft shud suffice? but then u cook a lot ya... i copied a few photos of kitchen from another forum (hope he doesnt mind... ).. see what u like..

hehe.. oh ya hor.. u emailed me.. the ID's company policy is they dun do breakdowns one.. but when ask her how much is this n that, she tell us lor.. tiles for living room she say can choose til $3.60 and bathroom up to $2.80, which i think is quite good lor for the quote she gv us..and she uses a lot of glass in her carpentry i think.. also her company quite gd rep in RT.. meeting her tmr again to further discuss cos i gv her some change in kitchen and wardrobe layout to see if workable... i jz need to clarify on the floor laminates now.. so how is the hacking going at ur place?

feimei, where's the summer trading where u bought bathroom stuff n hob n hood? need to figure out how much averagely they cost leh.. think me shud be settling on ID soon.. hubby likes this ID his fren intro to him.. i keep asking the ID to keep within our budget n asking her how much is this and tt cos her quotation doesnt come in breakdowns.. but hubby say i mite scare her away.. cos a few of his frens used her as ID and all quite happy with her, so he want to award our reno to her.. i mean i like her too but still must ask wat hor..

hi.. ur layout quite similar to mine.. its in pasir ris too but EA... i wanted to do a partition for service balcony for the washer too but hubby not too keen on the idea for the same reasons u mentioned.. we will probably be hacking off the wall between MBR and bedroom 3.. MBR will then will be WIW and study area.. still thinking of the layout for that... our second interview shud be early nov.. cant wait...

yup.. he's into star wars.. just clones alone, think he has at least 2000 of them! there's still the helmets, lightsabers, ships... he has his own corner in our new place for all of them.. would you mine sharing with me how much the display cabinet cost? we were quoted about 2k-3k for glass cabinets.. cant remember wat the dimensions were though..
