Hi Chery! Not a FSM but i can give u some advise based on some experience in pyschology. 1. Sleeping under a beam will create a "Ya Po Gan", a feeling of something pressing onto you, hence some people will get bothered by it and loses sleep over it. 2. Legs facing the door will gives u a sense of uneasiness, same as if you are sleeping with ur head facing or leg facing the windows. 3. Toilet is a place of moisture and human being are not very receptive towards moisture, epecially during rest time. Hence people tend to fall sick. My advice (Do not flame me as it's a open discussion, and i'm offering the advice from a pychological point of view. I notice there are too many narrow minded pple in the forum, who only believe in their own set of beliefs, and simply has no tolerance towards other's point of view) If possible, try not to sleep under a beam or facing the window and door. If u really have no choice but to choose to sleep under a beam, u can choose one that doesn't faces the window and not facing the door. (Out of a bad area, u can choose the best place. If u feel pyschologically well, most probably u'll get a better rest too.) If possible, always ensure ur headboard is resting against a wall or a big and solid thing. (You get a sense of backing, a sense of security) When the toilet is not in use, u can always closes it. Or u can choose to close ur own door. Maybe u can post a layout of ur room and other forumers can have a better view.

For "REAL" 5 emperors coin..it will be REALly expensive..hehe..because it's an antique. I seen a few in Bugis and china town..There's a shop that sell paintings which has it..but even better! It has 10 emperors coin in it, but it is package super nicely with descriptions of the era of the emperors. I believe u can classified this as a "mis-selling" or "mis-representing". You bought the unit under false information given to u by the agent. Example to quote : If ur unit has an empty plot of land in front, and the agent told u that it will be used for a shopping centre. And u bought the unit based on this point. In the end, it turns out to be a graveyard. If u have evidence of him telling u that it is going to be a shopping centre, u can sue him, or rather his company for damages. What i suggest, Ask ur agent out again, and then u tape the whole conversation. Make him admit that he did mis-sell or mis-represent himself to u. If u are successful, sue his *** off. Damages u can ask for : All the deposits paid + If u buy a higher price unit of same valuation, the agent's company are liable to pay for u. But what i would suggest, is that u play the recording for the agent to listen, and ask him to foot whatever costs there is to build back the wall. The initial confusion will make ur agent blur and make him pen it down in black and white, admiting his fault and to pay for the walls. Keep saying if he dun comply, then prepare to be sue. Most agent do not have the experience of being sued so i think to avoid trouble on his part, he will pay the few hundreds dollar. Just my 2 cent worth. Was looking around for oil painting and with the input of a fellow forumers, manage to find a shop that sells a big variety of oil paintings. I could see many various type of Buddha painting of all sorts of sizes. I eventually settle for a 4 piece golden lily in abstract. U can also ask them to trim the painting to ur desire sizes too. The lady boss is friendly and honest in my opionion. Their shop is located at South Bridge Road, near Maxwell food market, directly opposite the party world. Hi all! Went to check out the website : www.coloursofthewall.com It is down and not able to be access. Went to check out the blog site : www.coloursofthewall.blogspot.com Took down the address and went today. To my dismay, it is no longer using the place anymore. Call their number that i manage to find in the forum : 83059838 but number unable to get through. From the new tenant, it seems that every saturday, there will be people going down and going back dissapointed cause they did not realise the shop has close or shifted. Anyone know whether is the shop closed down or have they shifted to a new place? Any address or contact number will be appreciated! Please post their new address or contact number straight to this thread and not as pm as i believe there are still people looking for their address. Thanks!

Yeah man..I believe there are still good furniture store out there..just that we need to be careful of the black sheep. Thankfully i manage to get my stuff from Mondi and even luckier, they are able to deliver this week. Hope everything goes smoothly this time..hehe.. Good day to all! I feel that I have the obligations to share my experience with all who are buying furniture for ur new home. The worst kind of services imaginable, from Novena. Story as follows : 3rd Jan 2010 My wife and I went to SHAW PLAZA's NOVENA to take a look for our Sofa, Dining table and Coffee table. 1 of our criteria when purchasing them is the availability of stock, meaning they must have ready stock. Eventually, we settled down on all our items and purchase another storage stool which cost $99. Total 4 items. Delivery date is set to 16th of Jan. 15th Jan 2010 Morning : The sales girl called me telling me that my sofa got no stock, so got to wait for the shipment, which is somewhere near 5th of Feb. Told her i got to discuss with my wife, and will get back to her shortly. After discussing with my wife, we decide to wait for the shipment but we need a confirmed date. This is when all the **** begin. Called her but never answer. Sms her but never reply. Decide to wait for her to reply or call instead. Afternoon : The sofa supplier called me tell me that they will delivered the sofa tomorrow (16th of Jan) between 4pm - 6pm. Was thinking maybe she had sort it out and called my wife to informed her. Decide to sms the sales girl as well. Evening : The sales girl sms me asking who is that supplier and i was like WTF? supplier is from ur company yet u had to ask me who ur supplier was. But nonetheless, i gave her the number and ask her to update me. After a few hours, still no news. So decide to call her and sms her. Called her but never answer. Sms her but never reply. Nothing we can, so we sleep on it till the next day. 16th of Jan (Day of delivery for all my purchases) As our washing machine, dryer, mattress, fridge, tv, HTS are all set to be delivered on today, so we decide to wait for the sales girl call while we settle the other delivery first. Again, we decide to try our luck and call and sms her. Called her but never answer. Sms her but never reply. As the last of our item for the day have arrive, she sms me saying EVERYTHING except the storage stool will be delayed for 2 MONTHS! Of course we cannot accept this and we are **** pissed at her already, so we ask for the manager's number and to speak directly to him/her. She told me to wait out while she consult her store manager. After another hour, she smsus saying tht her manager, as a kind gesture, decide to let us choose another sofa at a discount price. They are willing to loan us a dining set and coffee table till they arrive. At that time, we don't care for these things anymore, and all we ask for is the full refund. The level of customer service is too much for us to take the risk of it happening again. So we sms her of our intention and said we will be gg down to her store for the refund and to cancel the delivery of the storage stool. When we reach the store, we ask for the sale girl but she wasn't around. So we decide to ask for the manager and guess what! The sales girl was actually the STORE MANAGER! Unbelievable! We told the cashier of our the situation and she took the invoice and check it out for us. More suprises! Out of everything, Only the sofa is out of stock! The dining table and coffee table are in stock! Imagine our fury! We insist on our refund and they counter-offer us again with a discount of another model. I told her in a loud voice (By then i had lost my cool) that," Please don't be mistaken by our pressence here. We are not here to create a commotion so u would give us a discount. We had enough of NOVENA's nonsense and would like to have our money back, Thank You" The commotion had attracted the attention of some customers, so they decide to let us have our refund. All in all, we lost about $60 in cab fare, 2 days worth of time but we gain a stomach full of anger. If she had let us know earlier, we can still salvage the situation but 1 day before delivery? we had to re-arrange the house warming and to calculate another date to move in now. Worst of it's kind, Novena the screw up furniture store. If u really had to buy stuff from Novena, please avoid SHAW PLAZA at BALESTIAR road. Please avoid BELINDA too. rdgs, justin

Hi Ivy! 平洋龙 - A Vast piece of land without any visible landform. Eg, Dubai has this Feature as most of the land are converted from desert. it can only be considered as a 平洋龙 if it has no visible landform, hence making it a very rare landform. 平洋一穴 - A vast piece of landform without any visible landform but has ONLY 1 mould or small hill popping up. That is the location of the Dragon's head. Hence, in a 平洋龙 feature, that is even more precious. To be able to call it a 平洋龙 ,the below criteria must be met : Vast piece of land. (Certainly not a bedroom) No visible landform. You can't have "many little dragon head popping up" as there's no 平洋龙 in Singapore that i can remember of. Rem HDB are consider mountain. Hi IVy, From the classical text, it mention the bedroom would have to be in a 静 status. The reason being that we do not want to disrupt the 气 as much as we can help it. Perhaps the classical teaching could not be apply to modern day living, but if we were to believe in feng shui, surely we would need to take into consideration of the classical text. Hi Ivy! I believe u are right as i recall my mentor mentioning that : To activate the travelling horse sector, we will need to place movement related objects or statue of horses. To NOT activate it, we just need to place large non moving objects in that particular sector to prevent the horse from travelling. As for the theory 易卦八宅, i believe a more appropriate theory would be 宅命合一. Combining the 命 of ur unit to the 命 derive from ur own 八字. This would integrate the life of the unit into the owner. Hi IVy, 平阳一穴胜千峰 平阳一穴 - To translate from my understanding, It means a vast piece of flat land, but with 1 mould or small mountain in it. The flat land is refer to as an underlying dragon hidden away. The mould or small hill is the place where the dragon's head pop up. Hence why it is superior (胜千峰) is because the 龙穴 is present at the land.(Mould or small hill) Would it be wrong to apply the theory in a room? Rdgs, Ara
