seeing u going thru the electrical and aircon installation processes, i can already feel the stress.... not easy lor.. a lot of surprises along the way

tk u, i am into details and hv spent some time on how my house should complement my living. that is the whole idea. I think a house should be liveable and not just presentable.

i would say 4-5 hr for a system 2, with no aircon ledge. they plan the best route such that there is very little visible length of the trunking.

yes my aircon was installed only after the electrical is up. My experience w Gaincity installation is a highly satisfying one. Thorough, professional and friendly.

those tumors on yr bathroom pipes are grotesque.... it gives me goose bumps. pls box it if u can.... or sand them down...

basically my unit is complete, 100% done. and i am v thankful all is over, reno is an intensely stressful process for all involved, sweat, blood, heat, angst, frustration, mistakes, etc. As i said there r hits and misses, i just didn't post or report those cos they have been fixed. but oh well, all is over and I can genuinely say I like the result of my reno. nothing is perfect. i am sure there r some minor glitches. Alan will rectify, give him some time and space. to add on, pendent lamp with LED bulb NOT hot...very good, can buy la.

the thing abt tracklights is they can be expensive, first u pay for the track and then the head lights. depending on how many heads u wan. if the head is spoilt, u discard the entire head. u cant change the bulb or fixture. unless u can buy a head where the bulb can be changed when spoilt. i use pendent lamp with LED bulb. If bulb spoilt, i will replace. the light fixture remains intact.

yr white metro tiles are a classic beauty and I had every intention to use it in my Kitchen wall but later drop the idea. i was eyeing on the yellow ones. The problem is it is debossed around the perimeter which will make drilling and installing of rails, hooks, shelf etc difficult. That was my concern. Hope u guys factor that in. Good luck to yr reno.

Have been working on the big picture n being v understanding n nice,, and not to mention being v pro active n communicative.... But sometimes patience runs thin n I hv to repeatedly reinstate and adjust my expectation. It is important to set a date of handing over if not all these ding dongs will drag u further. I believe in setting a date which both party can negotiate and then work towards. If date is unrealistic give and take but a date should be there as a guide to hv all work completed by then.
