  4. I am doing this all the time.. not sure why so many people say can not... You can also have earth wire, in additional to live and neutral... But one thing for sure, the current is max 5-6 A, use for low load devices like lights etc, otherwise it may trip... but still safe though..
  5. 2 identical pcs, about 30cm x 70cm, 18mm thick. One side with white backing, total $20 Got it from a workshop at blk 9008 tampines st 93. I need a lot more in near future. if you have better lobang, pls share share..
  6. Hi, where do you get the formica high-pressure laminate from? roughly how is the cost like? I am currently upgrading my kitchen cabinet doors myself... remove everything, cleaning, re-spray and add aluminium angle profile all round, new hinges. A bit tough initially especially cutting and framing the aluminium... now getting faster... Inevitably I will knock the new paint off. Thinking of using laminate sheets instead of painting... Thanks
  7. No chrome, PVC or plastics for me... SS is worth investing, even you shift house can bring along...

  10. Hi there, can someone or perhaps jaskel tell me if the so called spray paint on Jaskel's floor is similiar to those provided by Faith Coat? I have seen the Faith Coat's demo at expo and I believe the system will work. I dont believe the epoxy over existing tiles... Thanks
  11. When I saw off the bottom part , just about 4-5 inches, itself is extremely hard to remove.. yes, there are metal rod penetrated into the cement work... I can imagine to remove the whole frame is extemely costly... Why HDB uses metal for wetted toilet in the 1st place?
  12. At the 4 edges of the door, they have these thing glued on it, is it called trim??? I want to replace them all, where to buy them? I saw my sister cabinet is having some kind of aluminum on 4 sided, very nice. I wish to get those... For the surface I intend to respray them..

  14. I saw some ads that can replacing existing kitchen cabinet doors... I had a second assessment on my cabinets and they still look good except the doors are a bit old and 老古董。 I have 21 doors measured roughly 2' x 3' (some big and some small) + 4 drawers. How much do you think this will cost me? Just a rough guide. Of course there are some other works like replacing top lamination, side lamination etc. I dont intend to touch up the interior... Thanks
  15. Hi, that is what I thought... I already tried to repair them by sawing off bottom (about 4-5 inches) and filled them with white cement.. it works but not elagant... The best is to replace them once and for all... looks like not a simple task...
  16. Both my toilets are using some kind of steel door frame... The bottom portions rusted heavily. I wish to replace them with wooden frame. Anyone had done that before? Seems like need to hack slightly and existing tiles may have to be replaced... Any suggestions/recommendations?
