SCV is cable infrastructure, thus technically u should not have poor reception issue. Signal quality issue may arise but that is most likely due to poor cable joints or inappropriate isolation/termination. These are typically easily fixed by the wiring guy. Mediacorp TV used antenna, via air, thus u could have poor reception due to a number of factors. If it is due to poor air reception, then it is typically difficult to fix. Otherwise, it will be due to poor cable joints/termination also. Not sure about new flats, but those old flats they will have 2 points...

Just to update that today we did not make it to JB, postpone it to next Sat.......... So instead we drop IFC in Sungei Kadut to look look... 1. Univonna aka Uvonna sofa not bad, pricing ok but somehow I feel the reclining mechanism is not that sophisticated. Cause the leg rest immediately go flat level when flipped...do not quite like it. One way is to make it motorized which is kind of temping. Pricing I think is ok 2. Wah, I went up 3rd floor and feel like walking past Geylang and the lantern places. Every shop entrance has a lady standing in front and started to coax us to go in. So funny. We walk two rounds and they repeat the same thing..... 3. But overall quite disappointing in that place....probably will go back to catch Star b4 making the trip to Malaysia....

1) U got to determine first whether it is a SCV point or TV antenna point. Sometimes there are 2, and electrician mixed it up and connect wrongly. Do u remember original are there 2 points? 2) If it is a SCV point, it is actually easier cause u could either use ur cable modem to measure the signal quality or have Starhub measured it when u applied for SCV.. 3) But either way,. u are supposed to receive the Mediacorp channels well, especially if it is a SCV point. I think since the TV is already there, can get CLC to have it check out......do u have a chance to test out other point?

they have 2 showroom in Sungei Kadut. Today went to the IFC, selection is kind of limited. Do they lots more selection on display in the other showroom in Sungei Kadut?

Artcoustics Gallery sell the AG. KEF has a current promotion, around $2.5K. (speakers only) lol..I did not audition DefTech. Speaker sound very subjective, best is to listen to it personally. When I bought my previous system, I did audition that range (and lots of others) and end up with Heco/Castle mixed.

I do not think KEC is selling AG.... I think u did audtion KEF KHT3005 right? ur under 3K budget include receiver?

lol....it subjective, those are just general comments. See whether u can get KEC to play with both AVRs with the same set of speakers and with the same movie track. Then u pick the one u like better....... Not easy to compare AVRs, cause there are different features/DSPs........power output wise and inputs 608 is comparable with 2310/3310. But Audyssey, 608 is not near 1910.....lol.........

The A'Diva TI package should be $3K+ if my memory served me right...just for the speakers. Sub is TR2. Color is black or white. They do not bring in A'Diva I believe. Have u audition it?...

Not sure what u meant. But I had roller blinds in my place for 3-4 years. No mechanism failure, and I just did the occasional wipes on the material....

The AGs A'Diva/micro are satellites...but boy the sound space is excellent. Go down and audition it if u have not done so. (Artcoustics). Try out the Stradas too. The AG pricing is surprising affordable...lol....go try first.... Living Room : probably wall mount for front/centre and ceiling for rear. May go for all ceiling MBR : Probably all ceiling KEF3005 are satellites too but they are quite big. So if I get those, probably would be table-top for front and centre and wall mount for rear. I loved my previous setup, but the buyer is quite insistent on me leaving that setup when I sold the price....so its goodbye .... IMHO, if u are more music than HT, go for Denon....I more into HT, thus selecting Onkyo. Been a Yamaha advocate for long time but decided to switch to Onkyo this time round......but Onkyo 608 only have Audyssey 2EQ whereas Denon 1910 has MultiEQ, so may be looking at 708, just hope it is available soon..

yday went to auditon Anthony Gallo and KEF speakers........they are great in their own ways......... may want to replace the Morels with AGs now.... and Onkyo 608 receivers...will probably drop the yammy 665....
