chipee, thks for ur reassurance  yeah i was tiking abt tat too...i tik single bowl shd b fine due to the proportion of the bowl against the whole worktop.... Urs is also S1 wif window in kitchen too? For me, next to backyard door, our fridge is going to b there...then next to it, we'll have the L shaped kitchen cabinets n a tall unit just before kitchen entrance as for the other side, next to kitchen entrance, my stove cum chimney hood is going to b there..next to it which is also under the windows, my sink will b there yeah i tik few of us holding on for opennet nw....soon!!!

yup....got Edmund to do tat....except for the living room where the windows would only be frosted for the bottom part of the windows....else, the rest would all be fully frosted aiyoh mine like jin long leh....mine only starting electrical works as in L box n false ceiling stuff i tik....carpentry works shd be a few wks later? hmmm...i just saw the mirror n wallpapered wall for the bomb shelter...thks...not really into tat actually...trying to do sth else....asking my sis to help on tat cos she's a designer so hope will have gd ideas

oic....shower screen...eh i tot u didn't do anything to ur toilet...neither shower curtains, nor tempered shower screen or anything like tat....hw come the sudden thoughts to change? nah, we just got him to do sth simple...we only asked Edmund to do big mirror for the mbr toilet n a tempered glass shelf just below the mirror, tat's all.....nothing fancy since the toilet's alrd so puny

unless u buy from KL i suppose....but then again, after conversion, i tik will be same as buying from LUSH lah....hehehhee thks for ur offer regarding shower curtain...i guess we will stay in then decide on that....since we r not sure hw feasible tat would be for us....since we r not doing any cabinets in the toilet and the shelves in the toilet will be tempered glass....will see hw....

KSJL - yup, we had to run our piping thru the kitchen in the end....either that or risk running snake lines above and under the beam of the walkway....besides, i did asked Edmund if it's ok to run the piping thru the kitchen....he gave a possible solution to put the piping so i guess....tat's our best choice.... erm, KSJL....tat kind of rug ar...if u want to get it in m'sia, pls go get it in those more upmarket departmental store....else, u will risk it looking like a mop hor

not sure man....yeah, tat's y Edmund also mentioned to him tat his other units here also no issue with the trunking....he wanted to trunk all the way thru to the hallway there n all....i was like OMGAWD....so snakey....faintz.... nope, Best Tech din charge us for delivery as well as the 2 trips installation....in fact, they encouraged the 2 trips installation....1 time to do trunking...another time to fix up the aircon....nw dun want to see it liao cos so ugly looking....after Edmund box up, will take more pics....

sounds gd ar abt the carpentry....so far, Edmund alrd impressed us with his efficiency liao....nw to hear tis abt his carpenter gives us even more confidence abt his works.... chipee, can totally understand how u feel....for us, we also keep comparing with my parents' current place (they staying in BTO in sbw also) so we keep trying to compare design etc etc....like u said, we decided to change our concept and adapt to sth diff bah....cos afterall, every place is diff....cannot expect everything to be the same

yaloh....we kinda have an argument with them just nw....cos they die die insist on doing it their way where they can cut short their job but yet do the trunking n then later, we r left with a very ugly house....heng Edmund is there to tell them where n hw to put so as to avoid too much wiring.... yup, have to box up the trunking....for ours, best tech is doing it for us in 2 trips....so today do aircon trunking....then Edmund will do the boxing up n the false ceiling etc then the aircon ppl can come and fit in the aircon on another time...

wah seh...so fast stocks gone for Song Cho?? ytd saw their website, intend to check out their stuff.... just got back from P&D...aircon trunking finally taking place liao....heng Edmund was there....the best tech aircon ppl wanted to take the 'easy route' out n do the snake trunking way....faintz....gd thing we r doing it the least 'snaking' way....phew!!! need to go back after work to check it out later
