Which Edmund?

Grace: Dont be too upset when you see how another Pinnacle owner runs their Opennet trunking - no visibility of casing/trunking outside at all once they closed the circuit cabinet. Go to below link and you can see the pic. I hope I can do something like his and there is not much of trunking running and also no mess at all. Yes, mouth open and last night when I went back home ard 9pm after working late - all my 3 panel of cabinets have been taken down for rectification. Sorry for saying that the workmanship is horrible lor since I used the cabinet less than 1 month. sigh.....the below panel I see that there are slight dark patches already - I didnt do anything to it but just slight moist cloth to clean the cabinet below after cooking ....really worst than my previous home which do not run down soooooooo fast but after years of staying there...very sianz on this...

If that's the case then I will have to get Edmund to assist already.... Yes, pls check on your side...the "mouth" opens when I stay in for less than 3 weeks.....the carpenters just now commented that it is due to my cooking but HB told them that I only cook 2 times within a week but how can cooking cause such too as my old house I dont have this problem at all....anyway, hopefully they rectify for me....

I would prefer to have it installed in the electrical conduit side which is near to the main door to minimise the trunking and no cutting of false ceiling at all. But do we have to install the power socket there or they will install for us? Why need this power socket for ah? Sorry for this ignorance... If they can install at the electrical box cabinet then we dont have to bother Edmund already since he is soooooooooooo busy with you gals renovation.... the top hung cabinet edge or the side slightly open "mouth" now and they remove these cabinets n get them rectify but the bottom ones they did not but I can tell that they will just open "mouth" soon - just a matter of time looking at them now....sigh....

Yes, I told him that I did curtain but still very glaring and he said no choice....I also commented to him that they should have let this Opennet installation done up before they release the unit to us but they said it is the timing issue - anyway, he just apologize but we owner has to bear the cost especially those completed renovation! Btw, I feel like crying now....why? My top hung kitchen cabinet the edge open up and Edmund carpenters remove all 3 of them to rectify - they actually sub-con to the subcontractor to do it and they did a BAD job for me! The below cabinet starts to show some edge like going to open up but they said see how it goes and if they do then we call Edmund and they will rectify. I will have to monitor n see but why cant they do a good job once and for all???? I only moved in less than a month and the cabinet is not lasting and edges are just opening up...sigh....

All, I have called up HDB and the technical officer has commented that we are NOT ALLOWED to have solar film in Pinnacle!!!! They are going to take action on those who has fixed up the solar film n they will have to remove them. Phew! Luckily I didnt get Jason to do it as he has alert me to check first before he fix up for me as he knew that Pinnacle is an icon flat n he believes that HDB will not allow any solar film to be done there.

So finally u decided to do feature wall for your bomb shelter? Hey, can we stop the trunking at the electrical conduit which is near to our main door instead of having such railway track? I dont think I can run like yours now as I already have the feature wall at my bomb shelter...u mean Edmund going to bring you to a house to show you how the bomb shelter with shelves look like?

Why cant you get Edmund to conceal? I dont think he will turn green lah but maybe ask you for $$...hahhahhaa... ;pppppppp Actually looking at yours and some of them on the other forum, I see that this is quite easy leh - just cut the false ceiling and Opennet pull the wiring on top of the false ceiling n pull down to the TV console - that's it! We patch back the false ceiling then do repaint - ...simple hor! But then I dont know how to DIY lah...hahahhaha... ;p

Yes, HB also said doesnt worth but it really looks nice to us but spending $300 for a art clock, personally we feel doesnt worth it. Guess will have to look around again.... Guess I will have to call Edmund to discuss on this opennet installation - sianzzzzzzzzzzz more cost incur and really hope Edmund wont charge me too high.... All: As for solar film, I did mine last week with Jason for my 2 bedrooms & kitchen.... Now my house is cooler without experiencing the heat radiation in the air space.... *Phews* For those who experience sun heat like I do, you can consider this alternative Spoke to Jason this morning but he told me to check with HDB whether we can fix up solar film especially Pinnacle is an icon in Tanjong Pagar and we may not be allowed to do so though from outside I can see that a few of the units have done on those mirror/reflective solar film.

Bro, I also "open mouth big big" when I saw Chipee pic on this Opennet installation- this is really an eye sore and if I dont cut the false ceiling then I will see more track than Chipee...arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....but I am wondering how can Edmund assist me on this....cut the false ceiling first then Opennet run the casing but how are they going to run if the hole is so small? Hmmm...cant visualise how they do it leh...my appointment is on next Monday which is giving me headache now....I guess even if Edmund assist to cut the false ceiling n conceal the trunking later, I will still see some track near to the feature wall at the TV console but this is still better than seeing all the railway track lah...... Hey, you will "kana" this Opennet thingy too as this is Singapore local wide installation but just that we Pinnacle starts earlier on this installation.....sian hor....

Chipee: Did you ask the Opennet if we want them to run the casing inside the false ceiling especially for those already completed renovation, how can they assist? I am wondering how can Edmund assist me on this? Cut a hole on the false ceiling for me first then when Opennet comes they put the wiring all across to my TV console and once they are done, Edmund patch up the hole n repaint the area for me? Any one any idea on this?

Chipee,thanks alot for the pics! Yes, indeed it looks like a snake per my expectation and I dont wish to see such snake line at home since I have false ceiling conceal up already. I wonder how can Edmund assist me on this and I guess I need to call him up on this...sianzzzzzzzzzzzz more cost incurred!

Remember u pay for it and u have the right to choose whatever colours u like... Doesnt means that Edmund will always be right as he does make certain mistake too lah....he has chosen a wrong colour laminate for my common toilet cabinet leh but we have no choice but to accept since cant change liao n i dont think Edmund will get it re-do for us since we also agree to his proposal. Hence, I strongly feel that u should go with your colours if you like it very much unless he doesnt has such colour. Just note that you are going to stay at Pinnacle for at least 5 years and not Edmund.

U will have to think about it now as you will have more headache when Edmund shows you the full laminate colours brochures....hahhahah...dont scare you off now but just think of what colour you guys like then go from there....

Yes, reno completed and will have to check with Edmund how much he will charge me since he already knew how they have run the casing for Chipee's house. I guess casing will be seen but it depends how much we will see it - sigh!!!!!!! This Opennet installation ah - they should have installed everything prior to HDB release the unit to us.
