One of my room is fully systeminded. 2 things to note: 1) The rubberwood is easily scratchable. Really unsightly after a while. 2) The gaps between the boxes are dust magnets.

In theory, some EM will have a void area right? Wouldn't it allow you to "lift" any items to the 2nd floor? I think the bulky staircase really waste of space and kinda ugly, heh.

I've added a base for my fridge which I regreted. Nowadays the new kitchen so super small and my fridge is kinda big. It comes with auto water/ice dispenser. Every year I will have to change the water filter behind. Now I have to tilt the fridge whenever I change filter. Someone have to be in front of the fridge to "tahan" it while it is tilting at 15%... Super troublesome.

Hey you bought the basins already? I bought almost the same type, but its a basin together a scrub board by the side. It's also from HOE KEE and cost about $350. 2 years later, the legs all give way. The LEGS are **** lousy, its screwed on with 4 long screws. The rest of the metals are just cheap metal which disintegrated. In the end, I have to go DIY shop and buy 8 fridge cubes to hold up the whole structure.

Hi, I was surfing a few property website, there are always advertisments of Executive Apartment with 3 toilets (NOT Executive Massionette). I'm wondering whether is this true? So where could the toilets be? So far I've only seen EA floorplans with 2 toilets. Anyone with EA floorplans that have 3 toilets? Thanks!

View is nice, but for me, I've always love my garden. I've built a platform for my planter. Unfortunately, becuase its blocked by my full length tinted window and not enough sunlight... My bamboo didn't grow well, they all turned brown, so I pulled them all out. If I get a nice EM Penthouse next time, I can grow my bamboo on the rooftop garden, hee!

My 4 room flat is full of platforms. I custom made 4 platforms @ my place and 1 systemind platform in my study. The systemind platform covers the entire study room and there are 2 study tables. I think about 6k My dining platform cost about $4000. Landscape platform about $1500 Master bedroom platform with tv console and 360 degree swirvel tv stand. $2000 HEH, you better think properly before building platform. Took me about 3 months then finally no longer tripping and kicking anything. Now with my 7 month old kid, his walker is like a bumper car, go abit nia hit platform, don't really have a big area for him to walk around. Of course it is also a big hazzard because of all the protruding sharp corners.

I've both L box cove light and downlights. Err, honestly, if insect want to commit suicide, they can die anywhere Furthermore, it is really out of sight, how many times will you climb up and check how many insects die there? I stay in punggol, the wind here super strong. I've never wipe my L box yet, so far no dust from there dropping down If you are afraid of electricity bill, then break the lights into sections like me. Cove light really creates ambience, mostly, they use T5 tubes, energy saving. BUT then, seriously speaking, so far i live here for 2 years le, I must admit I switch on my cove lighting less then 20 times Mostly I use my downlights as they are brighter.

YA, just saw an ads a few days ago for the Bishan Penthouse. The reno very chio. Very Resort and Cosy Look.... SOLD for $750K! Gosh, nowadays HDB so expensive. To think that Bisha flat easily 20 years old. So you are sinking in a $750K hdb that have about 75 years of leasehold left. Don't know worth it or not. But then the location is definitely solid, considering that Bishan is an interchange and so many good schools there.... Your friend's 600K+ definitely worth it sia. Heh, you don't happen to have the layout do you? I've very interested to see the layout leh, but so far nobody has it.

Hey any of the EM here that are living in Penthouse? I think only few HDB penthouse in Singapore. Some in Loyang and others in Bishan. So far can't find anybody with penthouse floorplans, maybe cause there are too few around. I like it cause I can have my own garden Anyway just hunting around, I can only get a new place in another 2 years time.
