Hi, Looking for Dutchess (New) - With/with out bed frame. Let me know

Visited the Dunlopillow Sleep Center @ tradehub 21. I was thinking of buying the Duchess(New) and i was told that the price is $1300 for the 'mattress only'. Based on the the price i was offered in Expo i was just trying to ask for lesser price or any other freebies and the person attending to me (dunno his name) turned hostile and red faced. He wasn't even in a mood to talk to me and telling me if 'you can get it cheaper else where, go and get it. Don't come here'. I was just trying to maximise the value of my hard earned $$. If he thinks that i am bargaining hard and his price is the lowest in town there are some other ways to tell that without being so harsh. I will not go there again, even if i happen to buy the same mattress for higher price. Dunlopillow Sleep center @tradehub 21 sucks

Wk29 '10 Nothing happening this week. The contractor is not reachable (went for reservist) and still some Plumbing work, Electrical wiring, Lights installation, Cabinet door installation is pending. Bad bad co ordination by my Reno contractor. Forgave him after knowing the reason for delay. Iz was very responsible and apologized for the delay. Here is the photo of the Transition

As the work was progressing very slow, there is not much to write as daily events. Hence i log all the events in a weekly basis. Wk24 '10: 14 Jun'10 -Finished the 2nd appointment and got the Key. 15 Jun'10- Applied for renovation permit. But the permit allowed us to Hack only the following week. Sorry for not updating regularly. Its because the contractor never do the job regularly. I fed up with the progress and in no mood to update my t blog. Anyways here is my updates.

Sorry for not updating for a week. Right now the floor, wall tiles in the bathrooms are hacked and the place is a mess. The Tiler supposed to finish the tiling work by Tuesday. But, he is starting the work by Today only And he will finish the tiling work only by Thursday. Going there today to see the progress.

Hi, Daiso is a $2 shop selling Japanese/Korean brand items. One shop is in IMM Level 3 (Same level as many ID, furniture and hardware shops) Another shop is in Vivo City (Level 4) near the roof top garden (Next to Food republic). Hope it helps

20 Jun'10 Update: Renovation was delayed by a week as the renovation permit allows us to hack starting 21st Jun'10 (tomorrow) only Tomorrow will be the day of hacking the wall/floor tiles in the bathroom.

Berry, Yeah it is malay house. Ne0mesis, Is it? I had difficult time deciding the kitchen layout. Even now i am keeping my fingers crossed to see how the final outcome will be. The unit is in Sengkang. Froggy, Yeah i chose this one just because of the lower COV. I am planing to tare down all the wall papers, carpet and redo all the painting. The pole is for pole dancing i guess. Just kidding. they kept some spices and sauce in those trays. Even i wondered when i saw it first time the table with bar stools and a pole in the middle of the kitchen. When I told the seller that i'll be hacking away all the cabinets in the kitchen. The seller was asking me that they want to take that pole. I think they love this pole very much so i agreed for that. Yesterday when i visited for final inspection the pole was gone.

Thanks for the info. I managed to buy my Hob, Hood and Microwave oven, all under one roof. Saved some 20% during the process. Thanks again The prices were atleast 10% cheaper than the cheapest stall i know (Goh Ah Bee)

Hi Azaleaho, My kitchen is also similar to yours. I am finding difficult to come out with kitchen layout too I have some ideas though (after talking to few ID/Contractors) will be finalising the layout and contractor by this week end.
