  6. Just want to share the cost for those intending to redo the bathrooms. Shifted in to my current place about 5yrs ago and at that time I didn't do up my bathroom as I kinda like the pink and blue bathroom fixtures. Also I hired Intradesign to do up my place and my focus then was mainly on the living areas hence didn't allocate any additional budget to do up the bathroom but it was always on the back of my mind to reno both the toilets... Main toilet Bedroom toilet 2 years ago I took the plunge and hired a contractor to do up the toilet in my living room, all in I paid $5015 and was very please with the outcome and the entire process took about 5 days. Overlay Wall tiles Overlay floor tiles Remove all toilet fixtures Install all toilet fixtures Remove and replace stainless steel pipes $3,100 Replace toilet window $150 Shower screen $450 Vanity set from Bathroom.sg $849 WC $380 Paper holder/ Glass shelf $86 I have been pondering to do up my bedroom toilet for sometime and 3 weeks ago I took the plunge and went to the same contractor above for a quote but to my horror he came back with a amount of $4000 for the same work he did 2 years earlier...so this time round I decided to go direct. Wall tiles from Hafary Floor tiles from Hafary $947 Cabinet/ Basin from Spazio Basin tap from Spazio WC Mirror Paper holder/ Glass shelf $799 Plumber to remove and install fixtures Remove and replace stainless steel pipes $340 Tiler to provide labor to overlay tiles and clear debris $1,000 Shower screen $358 Electrician to install trunking and install heater $80 $3524 I save close to $1500 the 2nd time round without compromising on the workmanship, I was most please with the responsible tiler boss whom came down and help out for a few days to ensure he can handover the work on time.

  8. Bought this chair 2 years back and hardly sat on it, a few months ago notice the PU leather flaking away and decided to get it sorted out. Did a search online and found some numbers, contacedt a few of them and narrow down to this company 'Golden Sofa $ Cushion Trading Pte Ltd', they came down 2 days later and showed me some fabric but in the end I decided to go with Synthetic leather. It took 7 days and this was the outcome. Good workmanship and service all around, feel free to contact them for a quote 64822115.

  11. Tired of seeing dust and water marks on my balcony sliding glass door and contemplating to paste full length decal over it. Need recommendation on advertising firm that are able to produce large format prints + installation, I did a search online and found this company http://www.canopix.com but would like to compare quotes with at least another 2 firms before commiting.
  12. Hi peeps, Can show pixs of your renovated bathroom?
  13. Thanks, spoke to my ID last night and she confirm it can be done. For me its more for convinience as we have already shifted in for 3 years and it can get very dirty if the walls are hack. I did research on epoxy but am concern that it might peel off years down the road and might be more effective to relay the tiles.
  14. Instead of hacking are we able to over lay bathroom tiles?
  15. Try to search for it online but wasn't successful, anyone can list down the service center address and ph numbere here? Thanks in adv.
  16. Need to source for contractor or any local company that can provide service as I want to sound proof one of my room.
  17. I have the tiles but just need someone to hack and relay the tiles, pm me with contact if you know anyone.
  18. damp a cloth with warm water and cover the affected area with it, after 15mins use ur fingers to rub off.
  19. should be veneer, cant sae for sure which is better but my place are renovated for over 2 years already and all the capentry are as good as new. knowing her I am certain she dont take on project base on the overall cost but rather how many projects she already have on hand and whether she can handover on time.
  20. my reno was done by Intra, you can view the pixs in the link below. I am just looking for some simple work done in my balcony so was thinking of dropping by AMAC.
  21. Hi Hoppie, nice place you got there. I am staying just down the road at Dr 16 and notice you hired amac to do up your place, is that the one at Vista Point and how are their workmanship?
  22. Plus minus of course but in general thats the formulae to calculate right?
  23. Quick check, if the measurement of my balcony is length 12.13ft * height 3.93ft = 47.67 sq ft and if I was quoted $6.5 per sq ft, is the final cost 47.67 * $6.5 = $310?
  24. Havent posted any entries in over a year, just customised a fish tank couple months back and just to share a few pics for those interested in fish keeping. Full size. Details on the laminate.
