Bathroom Accessories We continued shopping today for bathroom accessories again following the bad experience with UU, this time at Jalan Besar and then Balestier. First piece of experience is again that there must always be comparison of prices between shops, and try not to be mesmerized by the wonder service or chatty salesgirl -_-" I won't quote any shops because it's up to the purchaser whether you guys are willing to pay that much more for the added service. My experience today was that I went into one shop, saw an extremely beautiful shower mic+pole going for $168 nett which the nice salesgirl enticed us with. After dallying around abit, we went into the shop right next to it, saw it going at $105!!!! It was a 60% mark up in price, but I have to say the other shop's service wasn't that great.. Ultimately, if you guys are willing to pay that bit more for good quality service, go ahead, but do take note that there is great room for comparison of prices for bathroom accessories!

heh... yeah definitely.. fat + obnoxious = pig.. lol you are right fencer bro... we had a headache many many days and I think poor Jason suffered even more because he had to accomodate us.. Even today for bathroom stuff! I really must say kudos to him for being patient and professional all the way with us.. Will prepare a special place with special food for him during housewarming!! haha..

Universal union experience was not too bad up til a very unprofessional fat pig ruined our time there. I wud not recommend at all unless u are the kind who will put up with food Nazis to have a gd plate of food..

been quiet around here! so shall make some noise and have some updates wifey has photos of our hacked house!! havent uploaded yet so gotta wait for her today went toilet bowl shopping (and wifey refuses to try... women ) and saw some really cheap packages like $188 for a two-piece Baron WC and sink.. So likely might get that for common toilet! still deciding what to get for MBR sink and WC... any advice where I can get cheap and good ones! don't intend to spend a bamboozle on a toilet bowl!!

Quick update: Phew... went with Jason on Saturday to 3 places to check out tiles (felt like a million places), and boy were we confused/bedazzled/befuddled and totally blur about what we want! It's so difficult to pick!!! The wide variety and range of tiles available is supposed to be a good thing, but in the end made us more confused!!! We got a few samples... but not very keen with them... so we went down alone to Soon Bee Huat on Sunday again!!! spent another few hours to get some samples again... still as confused!!! Jason, just a quick question.. the girl said there are some restrictions to tile size etc etc.. We are hoping the wall tiles we can do 60x60 to make it less grout lines, but also it's cheaper to do so (30x60 is about $1 psf more than 60x60 for the same tiles!! ) Shower Floor Tiles = Max 30cm x 30 cm (to create slope) Wall tiles = Max 60 cm x 30 cm (less to cut when near edges, in case fall off??) We are quite sure we want to go for a cosy feel for the toilet, rather than a modern one, so we picked some tiles le.. but still not very sure

Hi timtim, we are actually ok with the common toilet being this size as it's not very important The space between the counter and the wall needs to be sufficient for us to walk through!! Anyways, it would likely be too expensive/onerous to smash the wall down and rebuild it.. Thanks for your suggestion though!
