I had the same question when I was renovating my place. Overlaying is generally cheaper and less work, but you have to see whether your toilet ground level (after overlaying) is still lower than the outside ground level. This is important to ensure that water does not leak out easily when you wash the toilet floor.
Hope this helps some.
have you tried Zen furniture? it's a chain store so there are outlets all over singapore. i went to the one at sungei kadut and i remember seeing alot of nice low japanese style tables.
if you are interested in custom-made TEAK furniture, you can try pagoda:
www.pagodateak.com.sg
i made my dining set there and i'm very happy with the workmanship. only thing is, i had to wait about 6 weeks (becuase the furniture is imported from indonesia). hope this helps.
Have you tried spraying your blinds with something nasty? When I first got my puppy, I got some chilli spray and used it on my furniture so that he would not bite them. It worked brilliantly.
thank you very much! i went to seahorse at parkway parade and found just what i was looking for: queen size mattress, 4.5 inches thick, only SGD400 (roughly). i managed to sell my old mattress at SGD100, so i only paid SGD300.
Hi everyone
I just bought a teak framed mirror measuring 100x150x5 cm. I plan to hang up the mirror at my dining area. Problem is, the shop does not do installation. Can anyone advise someone whom I can contact to help me hang up my mirror? Pls help.
Hi everyone
I bought a new bed recently. Problem is, the bed is too high for my mum (who's 60+). I can't do anything about the bed frame, but I'm wondering whether I can get a thinner mattress (so that she doesn't have to strain to get up on the bed). Does anyone know where I can get a GOOD and THIN mattress? Really hope someone can help.
