Love your colors~ may i know which color code is the dark pink one in your study room?
-
great choice for your tiles~ i wanted to get this tile as a deco piece for my toilets too..but its too expensive i feel..are u putting a lot in your toilet?
-
hihi frosty, ya tile is very nice..wood is nice too budden you gotto worry about getting it wet or termites problem..the grid line i am referring to is those lines that you put at the end of each step to provide friction..mine is smooth throughout so will be slippery when wet. hihi jessie..thanks...your wrought iron rails look really good too..but u can definitely change them to glass next time when your boys are older..we did consider our future kids when we made this too...prob will use 2 baby gates at each end of the stairs to make it safe for them..hehe..meanwhile i'll be the one enjoying first. actually tempered glass is quite safe la..just make sure there's no sharp corners..i use a lot of glass in my house so safety is also top on my list.

we got it at this shop called GR Link..costs about $200+ ea. But u can get it at PJ cheaper..we only found out after we've paid deposit at GR..

Stairwell with new tiles..we decided to use the same homo. tiles for the stairs cos we like the uniform look. ID did warn us that it might be slippery when wet as we did not do any grid lines...we'll just have to be extra careful in future. My new WC installed! Some workers already pee-ED in it before i could even use it!! Will #%$#% my ID if there is any stains during handover.

thanks..this round is much better compared to my first reno cos we already know what to monitor and what to expect..now just excitingly waiting for the reno to finish...how's yours progressing? hihi jessie..your reno is progressing well too..love your kitchen~ we wanted to go for open concept initially too..but i was worried about the smoke and oil when i cook..cos i love to cook. so had to give up that idea...can only drool over your kitchen now. thks thks...just uploaded some pics...my reno not completed yet though ~ i wish...this week will start carpentry and still got glass works...but almost there...hee.

Bz with reno and work so not much time to update. Many things have been completed since my last update. Tiling are all finished, electrical works done and first round of painting and washing is done too. Carpentry will be up next week..can hardly wait. The house is turning out to be just how we want it with some hiccups here and there but glad to say we managed to pull it through. My ID has been nice so far accomodating to things that needs to be changed or repaired..hope he keep it up this way. Hehe. Bought my new bathroom tap yesterday at jalan besar..same design as SSC but $40 cheaper...the boss even provide free delivery just for one tap. My hood and kitchen sink will be sent next week, can't wait to see how they look in my new place..took many photos..shall upload once i am free!

Back from the lack of replies...just came back from overseas with hubby and back to work reality today. Not much updates on the reno since we asked the ID not to do anything critical while we're away...cos we do not want to remedy any mistakes in case..i just asked them to redo the boxup for our toilets before I left...luckily its not a big effort to change that. Everything is progressing well on schedule..all the lightboxes were completed before we left, this week will be washing and painting..followed by carpentry next week!! Yipeeee... This is the ugly box up which I asked the ID to change...nono for this! Small wall for shower area...we did not opt for a shower screen cos we dun wan to make the bathroom look cramp..will have to be more disciplined during bathing so that water dun spill all over. Lightbox in kitchen up~

yup yup..i love the huge contrast of white tiles compared to my black tiles last time. either way can make the toilet look either longer or taller so its nice both ways! my toilet is not really that huge..it looks big cos we combined 2 toilets into one.. thanks thanks..but i managed to engage a carpenter highly recommended by someone ..his workmanship and prices are good...installation will start end oct..hopefully everything goes well.

i really wonder how come they've not closed down yet with such service quality?? the installation guy who came to my place was quite nice but just that the salesman and boss's attitude suxs!! so apple, wat happen to your grilles now? after this incident, one of their staff called me back...apparantly PG's boss treat all customers like this..and there is poor communication between the sales and the installation side..thus results in all these problems. i will never consider their service again even if they offer me huge discounts or watever.

I just wanna share my super bad experience with panggiap and hope this serves as a warning to all fellow forummers. I engaged them to do a wrought iron metal gate as well as toilet windows. However, after signing the deal, the salesman Mr. Kee becomes totally uncontactable! He is never in office and never picks up his handphone. (many other customers experience the same thing). I needed to change the installation date and called him at his office to inform him (one of the rare occasion where i can get him on the phone). He agreed over the phone but the next day, his installers still came. When i went up to check, i realise the design for my toilet window was not wat i wanted and i tried calling Mr. Kee to tell him but again no answer. So i called their office and to my astonishment, they tell me "sorry but your design is not allowed by hdb." My only thought then was, why din you tell me earlier?? (i ordered the windows few weeks back and have told Mr. Kee wat i want and he never mentioned anything about not allowed.) I called Panggiap and the guy called Andrew said his boss will call me back..but no one call me back after 2 days..and i was the one who kept calling them! In order to resolve this matter, i contacted Panggiap again and managed to talk to Mr. ANG who is the so-called BOSS of PANGGIAP! This is how my short conversation with him went: Me: "hi, can i speak to Mr. Ang pls?" Mr. ANG: "wat u wan?" Me: "i am the owner of xxxx, Andrew said u'll call me back.." Mr. ANG: "No time. wat you want cannot be done. if u wan to change measurements, you have to top up $$." Me: "but i've contacted hdb and they said.." (he interrupted before i can finish wat i want to say) Mr. ANG: "i follow wat hdb says..cannot be done means cannot..i dun care wat they say. if u wan to change must top up. i am in a meeting now, i call u back." (and he slam the phone on me.) I din even get a chance to talk!! And note he said all these in a super unfriendly manner..i stunned there thinking..."wtf??" And i can't contact anyone since the coordinators have already went home. I sent Mr. Kee an sms immediately to cancel my order for the gate and told him i wan nothing more to do with Panggiap. How can they survive with such service attitude?? There isn't even any action to salvage this deal. I dun understand...anyway, if you intend to engage or is even considering, pls forget about it..otherwise you risk suffering the same fate as me or some of the other unhappy customers.

Went over to our house to check on the reno progress yest. We were impressed by the amount of work done in just 2 days! Before Reno::
-
no worries ..thanks for that..at least i can sleep better ~ no heart pain. hehe. so did u get anything from comex? we saw many good deals there but too bad $$ not enough. we were actually looking for something like that too but the salesguy from Audio house told us that those with built in dvd spoil easily so we skipped the idea...

its a wall shelf from ikea...there's a compartment meant to keep dvds...we're lemming to get the white one for our entertainment room... wahhh...400+?? we went over on sun and the price we got was also a hourly special but not as cheap...got it for 549... but tink its still a good deal considering the original price is 1k+ la..and its hubby's wishlist. we compared a few brands of soundbar there...this is considered the best in terms of sound quality...
