  1. Bro, Sunny I log in to your blog thinking you have some debris here for us to view Looks I have to sneak to your place and take some photographs huh?
  2. I guess my youngest son did it on purpose....now the result is out & he is physically fit, under PES B. No more nonsense from him liao...MINDEF sent me the handbook "My Son The NS Man - what parents should know about NS. Prolly he will be enlisted after his May birthday. I am happy that he goes NS early to transform him to a better person, especially his strong character. Life is not always a bed of roses. If roses also got thorns, can prick you right? My past 13 years had not been easy too...it is these few years I dare to say I have slightly better life as I have set my goals seeking harmony and fulfilment in my own way....no longer living in the past of guilt for failing to find a partner or felt stressed for not being able to give my youngest son a complete family! He has grown up already....when we divorced, he was only 3 years old then. Looking forward, my life has just begun after seeking knowledge in Chinese Metaphysics and joining this forum here. Thank you all brothers and sisters here....you are like my family now
  3. Feng Shui - Trigram The sectors of the house have different representation on body parts, as following: 乾卦(Qian Trigram) = Head, Lungs 坤卦(Kun Trigram) = Abdomen 震卦(Zhen Trigram) = Throat 坎卦(Kan Trigram) = Kidneys, Ear, Urinary System 艮卦(Gen Trigram) = Hands, Spine 巽卦(Xun Trigram) = Hips & Buttocks 离卦(Li Trigram) = Eyes & Heart 兑卦(Dui Trigram) = Mouth Let's say the South sector of your house has poison arrows or badly affected, then you know that there is possible eyes & heart related issues for the member of the family. We can even foretell which member of the family too...by looking at the house chart and bazi of family members.
  4. That's why it is tough for a mother at this stage worrying for children what is best for them. Most people thought that once our children are grown up, we will have less worry...but reality is always far from dream! When they were younger, parents came home unhappy, they became worry. But when they have grown up, we worry for them instead.
  5. Let me guess....hmmm...you have 78 friends? many wo.... OR...that is your birthday - July 8th?? Different people have different guesstimation Just kidding you....
  6. Just weeks ago, my second son, who is graduating in middle of this year, has found a job in a shipyard as Architect, offering him a good starting pay (if he gets 1st class honour degree). So, he emailed me his pay scale using the salary benchmark 2010 here: http://www.salary.sg/2010/benchmark-your-m...ge-gender-2010/ Within the "15 - 24" age group, your gross monthly pay of $xxx (he excludes the bonus) places you at the 98.2th percentile among males. You are in the top 1.8% of your cohort. I thought his basic salary is considered very attractive for fresh graduates......yet he is not that happy with it as he thought Firm B will pay him higher as a Production Engineer. Moreover, his ex-classmate who is now with Firm B, received 9.8 months variable bonus on top of another 3 months performance incentive bonus, as compared to average 6-8 months VB payout by Firm A. Nevertheless, he likes the position offered by firm A, Architect, without the need to wear the overall jumpsuit everyday. He ever thought of joining the Singapore Navy, which pays him much higher starting pay Then, he told me that he might go into lecturing at Poly.... It looks like he still can't make up his mind....seems like he is a lost child now! Infact my second son picked this course (major in Naval Architect & Marine Engineering) due to the demand and higher starting pay when he graduated from Ngee Ann Poly then. This morning, while he was leaving for school, he told me that he might apply for scholarship to get a Master degree... Is $$$ is the motivation factor for young generation these days?
  7. To add on - My Corporate world: 1) Position Damager for Support 2) Years of experience >10 years 3) Qualification needed Strong Backbone 4)Salary Top few % among my cohort...can survive & won't die http://www.salary.sg/2010/benchmark-your-m...ge-gender-2010/ 5)Worst part of job is... Who cares
  8. More 'kaki' now... Actually all those old burners also gone into frozen when I moved back. Still sleeping in one unpacked carton. Only the Lambe Berger oil burner is taken out and use. No lah....you will be surprised to know that she will stand up and fight for good cause when somebody bullies her friends! My next post happens to be the topic on 'Warrior' profile.......
  9. I have a 'kaki' here for fragrance & scent! When I do laundry, I must soak all clothes to get rid of the perspiration smells from my sons' clothes and remove perfume odors from my clothes. Before the last rinse, I must use softener not for that 'softening' feel, but more of getting the scent on washed clothes. I remembered my maid used to wash my son's clothes by hands (many years back) & I initially thought it was a good gesture to save water consumption. But...haiz....sigh Thankful that we do not have BO odor! For me, my extreme act is to spray those Floral Fruitty body spray on our fabric sofa and my bed linen. I would use perfume to spray in the air after I turn on the aircon! I always carry with me 1-litre of body spray in my handbag and if I walk out of foodcourt, I can spray to get rid of food smell, or on a crowded train or bus.
  10. Hi, ngunadi I was at NEXX shopping centre last week and saw this shop selling the electric burner. It is called Dazzling Natural, and I remembered the electric burner costs $128 or something close to this $$. They also sell the pure essential oil in a bottle form, no need burning, and can last upto 3 months. I am getting the pure lemon grass with tea leaves fragrance, at $139. (As mentioned earlier, I am an "Analyzer", so anything I want to buy, I would think and think and think which fragrance is better before I go back second or even third time before I will buy!! I don't want the scent to be over-empowering for my children....if I am buying for my own space, I would have bought it on the spot!). I bought 3 bottles of scented shower gel at a promotional price of $38.90 (usual price is $18.90 each). One for 'balancing', one for 'relaxing' and one for 'Invigorating' the mood. By the way, your master asked you to place the burner in your kitchen?
  11. Beside a vivid feng shui fan, I have a weekness for scented essential oils, incense, fragrance, etc. I like to buy all sorts of scented shampoo and shower gels, body spray. Most elderly people are aware that the practice of burning incense has been around since the dawn of civilization. Now, this practice has transcended many different cultures, and regions. Incense has been used in many different ways and for many different reasons from soul healing to spirit cleansing. I used to place a burner at my 'Nobleman' sector of our house, and to harmonise the mood when we return. I am also used to burning essential oil to uplift my spirit whenever I am feeling down, out or unease. Now, I am looking for good quality incense stick.....
  12. I know those incense sticks /oil / wood/ etc can be used for soul healing and spirit cleansing. For me, I am used to burning those scented essential oil to uplift my spirit whenever I am feeling down or unease.
  13. Ely1 You are welcome! I have not compiled the rest of weaknesses yet...maybe after I finished the profile for the rest of it. Nobody is perfect in this world...just like this poem here: Nobody’s perfect But nobody tries No one gets respect Everyone lies Nobody’s perfect Everyone cries What did you expect? Everything dies Nobody’s perfect But no one knows why Is it for effect? It just ends in a sigh Nobody’s perfect They just turn their backs When life becomes wrecked They turn to dope or jack Nobody’s perfect We get fired, we get sacked Treating others with disrespect Then we pack No, the world isn’t great It’s full of lies and deceit Plastic girls, completely fake But at least it’s complete (Amy) To what extend do you Agree with the above poem?
  14. Agreed with edenstrauss explanation, that is you just leave the room empty / unfurnished, not an issue. However, if you are a vivid feng shui fan like me, and if the empty room is a beneficial sector with vibrant Qi, then you won't get to 'enjoy' it. Of course no spirit or whatever sorts of thingy...
  15. Another friendly people here....kekeke You are the big Sun that liven up the earth while I am the little Candle that illuminates people's live.
  16. According to research by my sifu JY, most of the successful businessmen in the world have both Leader & Warrior profiles. So, for the next write up, it will be the Warrior profile. Do you have Leader & Warrior for main & sub profile? Then you will be the next Warren Buffet.
  17. BaZi - The Leader As the word here, Leaders always take the lead & have many followers. They like to take risk, gamble with money or even relationship or dare to take a plunge! Have charismatic personality, always see positively in people because they see people better than they are, see people as better being & therefore they have many friends. The Leader believes in teaching people how to fish, so they can give money generously to people but not lend you money. They can react very strongly when felt distracted or unfair treatment. Their chances of success is high, as they are able to attract people. Path of least resistance to success: Promoter of things, bring things together. As Leaders they don't need money, only synergy with people. So, harmonizing with people is the key to Wealth, as they can influence people to reach their potential (meaning share their wealth) However, Leaders cannot work long for partnership,as they need to be difference & will end up changing partners after awhile. In the corporate world, Leader can package the company by restructuring; manage & package for listing. Leaders also are better off if they involved in big gala event, conferences, etc, bringing top minds together.
  18. Hahaha...you already have enough headache choosing & matching the tiles. Now, add on another headache thinking whether to seal or unseal the sides.
  19. Oh, it is so coincident! My friend's house at Strathemore Ave was done by Darren lor, and she helps me to clarify this issue when I spotted the unseal sides of the hob. Darren said it is "industrial practice', they don't seal it....but can be sealed if owner requests it.
  20. Hi, Enter the normal date of birth will do....lunar date is used for ZiWeiDouShu.
  21. 1) Position Single Parents 2) Years of experience >10 years 3) Qualification needed Decree Nisi Absolute 4)Salary Lump sum settlement 5)Worst part of job is... Unknown return
  22. OK. I will ask the contractor to seal up all sides leaving a gap at one of the outer right corner. Buying new one is one thing, but the 'explosion' will scare you off! Then the next hob will be in stainless steel, won't explode! No, No, No, I don't like metal hob For the soup pot, I will get either the ceremic pot or thermos pot like yours. Let the gf cooks her heart out!
