  1. Hi All,

I've been to some house where they wear slippers in bathrooms/toilets. They told me its more hygenic that way ? For me, i prefer not wearing slippers as i find that slippers are more unhygenic as it is always wet and soggy ??

I have some guests who will be at my house for a few months and i dont want them to think that im unhygenic or something.

What do you guys think. Kindly contribute.

i think wearing slippers in bathrooms or toilets can be quite dangerous.

some slippers might cause people to fall down more easily.

  3. Bros,

Any good and reliable plumber to recommend? I got water leaking problem and found that the pipe is broken and need to be change.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    Vibranze

My toilet bowl had been chocked and i called up Plumbing Contractors to help me fix and solve my problems.

I find that their service was quite fast and good, the price was reasonable too.

  4. The most effective method is how the aircon repair man do it.

Use a vacuum cleaner, and place the hose opening near the place where the water pipe discharge the water into the floor trap. Turn on vacuum and use hand to act as a adaptor to prevent air leak. The amount of sludge coming out is amazing. When feel like got water coming out, make sure water do not enter the vacuum.

If the vacuum bag is made of paper, take precaution as the bag will tear if water touches it. Best is to use wet dry vacuum.

I had never use vacuum to clean my air con before, i always call for contractors to come down to clean my air con for me.

I had done my last servicing last month with the help from Air Con Repair Singapore.

Their service was not bad and the price was quite cheap also.

  5. Hey U should have considered Metalworld Pte Ltd!

Their designs r superb for my standards. And workmanship is great :) Their foreman George, is well-versed in the egornomcis of such gates & all related products - After interviewing many wrought iron suppliers, I wasn't sure about engaging them until I spoke to George.

Because my HDB gate requires tilting. i.e. customisation. And George explained many technical details to me & worked with us to achieve our fengshui objective - :D We r extremely pleased with both the final outcome of the gate & that of our fengshui effects too! :)

He has mentioned to me before that if gate or grilles hv undergone hot-dipped galvanising, then, the surface would look really lumpy & the finishing wouldn't be as nice even after painting.

The wrought iron materials that they use all come with cold-galvanising, which wouldn't be good enough if ur gate or grilles are constantly baking in the sun or being weather beaten, including heavy rain...

Sorry to hear about your cases and thank you for the heads up.

Got mine done by Aluminum Wrought Singapore and i find them quite good.
