  1. came across a facebook page for PR residents here
  2. thanks for the info. wats the difference between 5120 and 6020 other than the colors?
  3. For those of you using the samsung shs-5120, what is the depth of the entire lock? will it fit a normal hdb door with metal gate?
  4. ooo fellow parisian.. hehe. good price you got there. which location?
  5. was in your shoes a while back. jus keep calling the ads in saturday newspaper. after a while you will know which units are the already co-broke and which are sellers ads jus by the questions they ask. but it can also be a hit or miss. we ran into a few buyers agent which were so persistant! goodness, so annoying. in the end, we manage to find a unit but still had to pay comm coz the house was represented by the buyer agent. seller agent bo-chup. we then nego with the buyer agent and manage to save a $2k. honestly i think buyer agents are redundant.
  6. as the topic suggests. im looking for a wider range of colored sinks... been to sim siang choon but their design range is rather limited. anyone knows any where i can source for more? interested in sky blue color with flat surface (to be against a wall) on both side of the basin.
  7. your layout looks gd leh. no dead space. gd luck on ur hunt!
  8. hi zer061zer0, nope our place is in pasir ris. but im staying in 400+ tampines with my parents till the house is ready. but yah upon deeper thought, having such a big master is not "future-proof" should there be any expansion. who knows we might want to have 4-5 kids LOL. furthermore, we really like the place and intend to stay for long. so quite a lot things to consider. actually it took us 5 months, 80+ phone calls to sellers and 30+ viewings before we found this unit. almost felt like giving up a few times if not for my partner's patience, we might have settled for something less. of coz we had the luxury of time to search for the perfect one. any pics of your place?
  9. yup jus go down to any mattress store and try all the mattresses. we were contemplating between a 2.2k and 3.7k mattress but after lying on it, both felt pretty much the same. so went for the cheaper one instead.
  10. just a question to ask. if im not retiling the kitchen wall but installing a new set of cabinets, is it recommended to jus hack the existing tiles that will be behind the new cabinet? or let it be?
  11. Tile selection over the weekend. We were spoilt for choice. Didn't know where to begin. Didn't know what colors to pick. Which pattern to select. But eventually came out with these. Common bathroom Master bathroom Kitchen floor (the dark grey at the bottom) Didnt take pics for the living & balcony floor though.
  12. Some pics of the demolition. Like all hackings, the place was in a mess and filled with dust. Balcony hack Living room & bathroom hack Living room & kitchen hack Common bathroom hack
  13. Even before our renovation started we already made some major purchases with a washer dryer combi, fridge and tv over the weekend at Gain City Expo Sale. Expected delivery in april.
