  1. wow, ur door will be very special! u removing the grilles?
  2. eee gross... how u realise he was outside? hehe...
  3. i thought of having 2 sinks before too! but my kitchen not that big so no point also... anyways my sink is so small also because my under counter space is all occupied by appliances! so cannot put a big sink... hehe...
  4. hehe, dunno leh... i don't rinse leh, i just make sure i throw away any leftovers or liquid into the rubbish bin first before putting in the plates and such... so far all my stuff comes out very clean... once when i cooked soup for very long and the pot ended up with lots of dried up soup around the edges it still ended up clean... peanut butter on the knife was also clean... i baked lasagna once in a glass oven dish so that had lots of stubborn hard sauce and cheese, but still came out clean... haha, i've been experimenting as u can see... one thing i realised is that you must choose the right wash setting... not too dirty stuff can do quick wash, really dirty greasy stuff must do longer wash... must add the appropriate amount of dishwashing powder, etc... if not i suspect it won't be clean, esp if i do quick wash for stuff that needs scrubbing... must really have the hot water to wash until all the dirt is removed... the only thing is dishwasher cannot wash everything... you must make sure your tupperware and plastics are dishwasher safe (which is why i must check everything i buy something) and cannot wash wood and aluminium stuff apparently (according to the manual). So my wooden chopsticks and chopping board still must wash myself...
  5. ya! last nite a lot of ppl burning stuff... was wondering why... i bought my own wireless modem leh... dunno why didn't think of getting from starhub... i agree that ST sucks more... last time i was under ST broadband. waited half an hour before getting through to an operator. Starhub quite fast, i dun usually wait long. haha... i bought my bedsheets that time robinsons sale plus i was cardmember so even more sale. i love love love sleeping in my bed! it's really worth paying!
  6. gosh... hope things get resolved soon... no worries, confirm will see the rainbow after the rain... my house leaking problem not solved yet also, still under X-files as to where the water comes from and they might want to drill... i just don't have the brainpower to go and think about it now, so using CNY as an excuse to forget it for now. after CNY then call HDB again to settle... anyways it does not irritate me now... i don't see any water anywhere and no new water stains after painting so far... but i know the leak is there somewhere, somehow... sigh... on the bright side, ur wallpaper is nice! and u will enjoy ur dishwasher
  7. hehe happy new year! ya cny period was mad for me. many many late nites of 3am bedtime due to cleaning and prep work... madness! now i'm slowly unpacking stuff so as to get ready for housewarming in an undefined time frame in the near future.. haha depending on when i finish! anyways, i just got my starhub up today! it was a horrible experience. starhub has really bad system... in the end took so many phonecalls and they double booked appointments for me and ppl kept calling me today... and the technician said end up got 4 technicians supposed to come over today man! its either they don't show up or they show up early, **** irritating man... super mafan. just glad it is up and running now! one thing to note, starhub cables all **** short, u better standby your own HDMI, lan cables and such... lol...
  8. i think u'll get used to it after awhile... i was used to the previous one in the old house which is slow too, after awhile you will remember to just switch on earlier not that bad!
  9. Model JH 25... i went to Poh Joo as recommended by reglxt... heats fast, but higher wattage too, but once the water reach the desired temp it cuts off the electrical supply so it's ok i think! it's the round cylindrical tank... i found picture of it online... if i'm not wrong it's ard $230... cash and carry...
  10. haha, thanks! yeps, sink is tiny as i only wash small amount of stuff with it. if i cook a lot i will use dishwasher. it's really really very useful. no kidding! maybe cos i lazy haha!
  11. btw, the joven 25l water tank is good and heats fast! i usually bathe just minutes after switching on the heater water pressure is strong also.
  12. just some snapshots i took with my iphone over cny! i have more pictures in my camera but it's not with me now...
  13. hi happy cny! was so super bz that i only got time to log in now! haha... the most bz cny for me ever man... heheh...
  14. yo! i didn't get rainshower, got a water tank though, and my water pressure is very good... ya, latest updates, the HDB plumber cannot find anything wrong with my concealed pipes, so we decided he can come back after CNY to check again. Just frustrating that no one knows where the water is coming from. He says after CNY may need to drill into the toilet walls to check the big pipes. Worst thing is after drilling still nothing wrong... then it will be passed on to another department to continue checking... a little disappointed that this is happening but i will just have to take it in my stride. most important thing now is just to move in and enjoy CNY... after that, i'll let them do anything they want. as long as they can find the problem, i don't mind anything liao. just want to move on man...
